You’ll love staying here because of the spectacular 360˚ views on a private 15 acre property. You'll have the entire canyon and ATV/Hiking trails to yourself, rock hunters will love the abundance of agate rocks around the property. Conveniently and easily accessible right off of Hwy 89. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families. NOTE if you are looking for a bigger place closer to Zion open year-round checkout my other cabin off Hwy 89 here:

The space

Property is OFF-GRID, that means it is not connected to the electrical grid. Power comes from a top of the line energy efficient Honda generator and a 500 gallon propane tank. Make sure you read my house rules before you book.

Awesome open floor plan, great for cooking and hanging out in the living room with friends and family. No neighbors, no noise, just have fun and enjoy the peaceful outdoors and wildlife.

Guest access

Miles of off-road ATV, motocross, and hiking back country trails up into Rock Canyon directly accessed from the back yard. Note these trails are not accessible other than through this property, there is no pass through traffic. Bring your dog(s) off leash walking trails all around the property. Grab your fishing poles and walk to a secret tunnel that goes under Hwy 89 and go trout fishing in the Sevier river.

Other things to note

Recommend your first night to arrive before nightfall. Hwy 89 is very dark, a lot of guests end up driving past the house driveway entrance several times before they find it, it's much easier to find in daylight. Once you know where the house is getting here after dark won't be a problem. My house in Rock Canyon is located 3 miles South of the intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 12 Utah.

We loved it here. The house is beautiful and nicely furnished. Loved the washer and dryer too. And two full baths was really nice. Beautiful views. Easy to manage the generator though we had to charge our devices during waking hours and there was no tv or wifi. Still, if I was to visit the area again I'd plan the timing for when the property was available.

Best AirBnB experience on my trip to the USA. Very cozy house on a beautiful spot of land. Very close to Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon. The communication with Brant, Jeannie and David was excellent - they are very warm and welcoming hosts and gave us a lot of recommendations. The handling of the generator was pretty easy and we didn't miss any comfort. We enjoyed long nights at the campfire and watching the deer and the rabbits in the morning light. I would love to come back!

The cabin was lovely, secluded, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We had so much fun exploring the large property as well and will definitely want to come back here when we are in Utah again! Thank you Brant!

We spent three nights at Brant's place at the end of September. The location is great for visiting Bryce and Thunder Mountain bike trail. We enjoyed kicking back on the front porch after a long day of hikes watching the jack rabbits hop around. The large front room windows were wonderful to take in the view when it was too cool to sit outside. The shower was amazing - water was hot and great shower head. Brant was very quick at answering questions and went out of his way to make arrangements for us to drop off our bikes early. Jeannie and David were very friendly and happy to give suggestions about the area. Thank you - Kellie

My family and I had a great time at Brant's place. Brant was extremely responsive to all my questions and very easy to work with. He gave us lots of tips and suggestions for local restaurants and hikes. His place is so quiet and private with a spectacular view of the mountains! The beds were very comfortable, great linens, and comfortable furniture in the living room. My two boys, ages 15, 13 loved driving the Polaris around his beautiful property. We also found the house to be conveniently located to Bryce. Overall, this is a great rental with excellent value. Brant is a great guy and will go out of his way to ensure you have a memorable stay.

Interaction with guests

I live in Hawaii however my Mom Jeannie and her husband David live 1 mile down Hwy. 89, they will be your local hosts. Jeannie and or David will meet you upon your arrival and give you a short tour of the house and show you how to operate the generator and answer any questions you might have.

About Brant

Aloha, I currently live in Hawaii on the island of Oahu with my wife and two children. Professionally I'm a software programmer but when I'm off work I enjoy going to the beach (kite-boarding) and coaching soccer. I'm into anything sports related and love being outdoors. The thing I miss most about living in Hawaii is skiing and snowboarding.
