My place is close to central Meursault with its excellent choice of cafes, restaurants, boulangeries, outstanding butcher, a supermarket, and many opportunities for wine tastings.
You’ll love my place because of its comfort, the ambiance created by its 18th century features, such as exposed oak beams, flag stone floors, stone walls and fireplaces.
Two major features are the south facing garden with petanque pitch, and the roof top terrace overlooking some of Meursault’s celebrated vineyards.

The space

The recently completed renovation project has seen a disused, former winemakers home transformed into a spacious, extremely comfortable, 3 bedroom family home.
Many of the original 18th century features, such as exposed oak beams, flag stone floors, stone walls and fireplaces have been carefully preserved or restored. These have been matched with more modern materials to create contemporary comfort while retaining a traditional French ambiance.
In addition, two major features are the south facing garden with petanque pitch, and the roof top terrace overlooking some of Meursault’s celebrated vineyards.
La Jolie Jumelle-nord is conveniently located. After a short walk to the central Meursault village square you will find an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants, boulangeries, (naturally!) an outstanding butcher, a supermarket, an epicerie, and of course many opportunities for wine tastings.
La Jolie Jumelle-nord is ideal for three couples travelling together, or for family holidays. Children are most welcome and will enjoy the large grassed playing area.
The owners, James and Kerry from Melbourne, also own the neighbouring 3 bedroom/3 bathroom property, La Jolie Jumelle-sud, which is also available for holiday rentals. Together, the two homes can accommodate up to 12 people.

•Full width, sliding glass doors open directly onto the large, paved, terrace, ideal for relaxing and outdoor dining, with dining table and sun loungers - BBQ provided.
•Located within the expansive rear garden is a full sized petanque pitch. Test your skill!
•Bedroom # 1 totally incorporates the second floor, with a king sized bed and spacious en-suite bathroom, with shower, wash basins and WC. The adjoining terrace provides comfortable seating and stunning views over some of Meursault’s vineyards.
•Bedroom # 2 on the first floor consists of a king sized bed and antique armoires. The bed can be reconfigured to twin beds. Opposite, on the same level is a very spacious bathroom, with separate bateau bath, shower, two wash basins and WC.
•Bedroom #3 is on the ground floor with queen sized bed. A half bath is close by.
•Hair dryers are supplied.
•Washer, dryer and ironing facilities are located on the ground floor.
•Free car parking is available on a nearby side street.
•A `starter pack` of basics which typically includes: milk, sugar, tea, coffee, bottled water, salt & pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
•Essentials: hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen paper, foil, cling film, bin bags, matches, paper napkins.
•All bed linen, towels, and cleaning products are provided.
•Cot and high chair available on request.

This is a wonderful property in a great location to enjoy all of the wine villages. The house is beautifully renovated and the pictures don't do it justice. We absolutely loved it.

The property: this is a stunning property in Meursault; when you enter, you can see through the whole house, and out the back onto the vines of Meursault. The pictures present a pretty accurate description of the property, but there is more backyard space than I understood from the pictures (it extends back about 30 or 40 m, right up to the vines). The hosts: Su and David were fantastic hosts. There instructions for arrival/key pickup were clear and conicse. There were detailed instructions regarding the operation of the property. There were also some supplies (milk, butter, cookies, nespresso pods) that were especially handy given the time we arrived. Thanks for helping make our stay so great!
