The apartment is located in a well established complex in the heart of Calahonda with amazing views of the coast, a beautiful swimming pool in perfectly maintained grounds and a heated indoor pool for the colder months. Nearby there are plenty of beautiful beaches and activities for all the family including lots of amazing golf courses (La Siesta Golf Course is 5mins walk from the apartment).

The space

The apartment is located in a complex called Colinas de Calahonda. It is a comfortably furnished apartment which is bright and spacious having only recently been freshly decorated and refurbished.
The living room has remote controlled air conditioning (hot and cold for comfort during summer and winter). It is open plan with a modern L-shaped sofa facing a flat screen TV with international TV channels (including English, Spanish, Scandinavian, French, etc.). 30Mb fibre-optic Wi-Fi connection and Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your own music.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need during your holiday including a washing machine, cooker with hob/oven and fridge freezer. We have dining and seating for 6.
The apartment has two bedrooms with remote controlled air conditioning (hot and cold for comfort during summer and winter). The master has a king size double bed with en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds. If required, the sofa pulls out to become a comfortable double bed (sheets are stored in the sofa storage area) so we can accommodate larger families of up to 6 people.
The apartment is west facing so enjoys sunshine from late morning until sunset and with the most impressive views of the sea and the coast down to Gibraltar. We have an outdoor dining table with seating for 6 and an awning which provides welcome shade when dining alfresco at the height of summer. 
The apartment can be accessed via lift and stairs. 

Guest access

There is a large outdoor communal swimming pool with a shallow (0.4m depth) area. This area is ideal for infants and young children. The pool opens out to large deep end and is set in fantastic gardens with sun shades. The views from the swimming pool area are simply stunning.
For the cooler months, there is a lovely heated indoor pool which is available to guests (usually only seasonal access - from October to April, but this can change at short notice).
There is a large terrace outside the living room with views of the sea. There is a round table and seating for 6 people. A gas BBQ is available for your use.

Interaction with guests

We have a local Property Manager in the area who will be available if you have any problems during your stay. The contact details for the Management Team can be found in the Guest Book in the apartment.

Other things to note

The Pool Key is located on the coat hook by the front door. The same key works for the outdoor and indoor pools.
Please Note: The pool key is only available from the Property Management company and are expensive to replace. Lost key costs will be recovered through the security deposit.
Quickest route to the outdoor pool: Leave the apartment and exit the door by the lift. Go down the stairs to the bottom floor and follow the garden path to the left.
Quickest route to the indoor pool: Leave the apartment and go up the stairs one floor. Walk towards the car park, but do not go through the gate. Follow the building to the left and down the stairs. Follow the path and the indoor pool building will be in front of you. If the door is locked, use the pool key. It can be difficult turn, but it does work.
Sheets for the sofa bed are located within the storage area of the sofa bed.
Pool lounge chairs are stored in the storage box on the main bedroom terrace. Please do not leave the chairs unattended by the pool at any time.

Very fast replies if i had something to ask. Pool area is nice and You even have a grill on your terrace if you are up for some barbeque.

We stayed here for two weeks ending on 23rd September. 2017 We were a party of 3 adults with another adult joining us half way through.... we hired a car at airport with the help of our hosts.... found apartment easy... it was very clean , we loved the pool area , most days just a couple of us by the pool....lots of lovely places to eat close by... weather was fantastic... loved the balcony and used the BBQ a few times... we would recommend having a car so you can visit the lovely places and beaches nearby... we loved our visit to mija up in the hills.... would highly recommend this apartment... thanks both for letting us use it ...

We have just had 12 nights in this apartment and it was fantastic. Well maintained and generous in size the apartment has all the home comforts you will need including a washing machine, iron and gas BBQ. There are 2 terraces off the main living area and the main bedroom providing ample entertaining space. The air con is a massive advantage and is fitted in the living and bedroom areas. The pool area is quiet, even in peak times it is far from crowded and we found if you were down before 11 am you got the choice the sunshades and were often the only ones in the pool. The apartment block itself is lovely and quiet set up away from the main strip with easy access to car parking inside the complex or just outside. We hired a car and that made the holiday perfect, we used the A7 which is the coast road to travel all over the area from Malaga down to Gibraltar. I would recommend this if you like to explore. We did not want a 'commercially' popular resort and Calahonda was a great choice for us allowing us to travel to the bigger resorts for days or evenings out. Sonell and Nitin were fantastic hosts from day one and filled us with confidence answering any questions quickly and ensuring our stay was comfortable whilst we were there. This apartment is perfect for families or couples alike who are looking for a relaxing holiday without the hustle and bustle of larger commercial resorts. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach to ensure you have all you need for a great holiday. The beaches are lovely and navigation by car very easy via the coast road to reach any of the coastal larger resorts and Malaga airport. Highly recommended.

The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything you would need and more. The hosts where fantastic and offered any advice you could need to enjoy your holiday. The apartment had outstanding facilities (the outdoor pool) was crystal blue and very welcoming during the 30 degree heat. The only thing I would suggest is that you hire a car as it is a steep hill up and down to the apartment and would make getting around a lot more accessible. I would highly recommend this place, and a visit to Mijas, we had a brilliant holiday and did not want to return home.

This apartment has a "soul". A warm, comfortable stay, all with high speed internet access, smart tv:-), wireless speaker ... Sonell and Nitin have repeatedly contacted us, asking if everything was ok, very discreet and polite. Welcome package (eggs, bread, butter, milk, etc...) was very much appreciated and was very useful in case of late arrival, with children. A car is, in our opinion, useful, but not necessary if you like a good walk. Thanks Sonell and Nitin, we will be back!!
