Oh my goodness, the minute we saw this place we knew it was for us! Believe me when i say it is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. The view is to die for and the attention to detail in the studio is amazing. Jane and Dennis were wonderful hosts and there is so much to do in the surrounding areas. The airport is only about a twenty minute drive and the nat'l park about 40. Even though there is plenty to do in the area the cabin itself is a wonderful secluded yet centrally located place to call home there is plenty of wildlife to be seen from the deck. There were deer every evening and morning and the occasional bald eagle flying about. Hummingbirds and other species galore. if you like the quiet and nature you will love this place. I want to suggest the trip to wild horse island. It is worth the time and money if you enjoy animals and nature. This place gets an a+ from us. Until next time. Randy and Gwen

Do not look any further for a place to stay in the Flathead Valley! This is THE PLACE...and the photos definitely do not do this amazing studio justice. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay Jane and Dennis made us feel welcome. The studio is the perfect spot for spending a few days or a week exploring the environs of the Flathead Valley. The spacious studio is well thought out, had everything we needed, is thoughtfully furnished, and has a private deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed sitting out every morning and evening taking in the views of not only the lake, but the horses on the premises as well as the wildlife that comes through the property. Additionally, cooking in was a breeze in the open kitchen. With the beautiful vista of Flathead Lake always on your mind, it will be difficult to spend the day away from this awesome space, but when you do you know you'll be coming back to your panoramic view! Here are some adventures we enjoyed while spending our time in Somers...Glacier NP (leave between 7:00-7:30 the day you do Going-to-the-Sun, so that your drive is leisurely in the park [note: we've spent a week in the park on a previous trip, so only spent one day this trip]), take a day or more to explore downtown Kalispell (museums, Conrad mansion, local shops, antique shops, house hunt, etc.). Drive a little further north to Whitefish and take the chairlift to the top of the mountain and hike down, then explore downtown Whitefish. We also enjoyed brewery hopping, and fabric shopping at the local quilt stores (okay, maybe my husband didn't love that, but he always had a book to read or found a store to visit).
