thanks a lot for your kind review.
We’d like to adress, one by one, the “downsides” you highlighted.
Yep, the apartment is on the second floor, so you’ve got to climb some stairs to reach it. That’s the reason because of which you, and every guest, can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from above. The stairs are narrow: the house is a proper historical Sala Comacina house, and as such its stairs are not as big as the houses a lot of people are used to nowadays.
Yep, it’s quite difficult to find a spot to park your car: we know it, and we say it clearly in the house description. That’s why we offer a private garage (which you chose not to take) 150 m away from the house.
Yep, the ladder to the second floor can be challenging for anybody having peculiar mobility problems. Again, we say it clearly in the house description, and as many people noticed (see Helen review, May 2018, and many others), it’s not difficult at all to climb it if you’re reasonably agile.
We as a family would like to stress this: every “donwside”, if so people want to call them, it’s highlighted in the house descrpition. We actively try to help our guests as much as we can, but as they choose our house, they know what they’re getting. It’s beautiful, it’s lovely, it’s cozy, but it’s not an apartment in a big city house.
