We loved our stay, it was perfect for us travelling with 4 adults and 4 kids, the rumpus room was a plus giving the adults some quiet time, and to enjoy the amazing view. Must do the walk to the beach it’s really special.

Beautiful view, quiet and fantastic location. Decor tired and white goods old. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the view is incredible. However, the property has obviously been rented out for a while, it’s tired in many places. Finishes are worn and areas like carpets are old and not in great condition. The oven, hob and microwave are obviously more than fifteen years old. If you don’t care so much about the internals and want a great location with an amazing view you won’t be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at Coles Bay. The house and the view are stunningly beautiful! The area was nice and quiet. It's a really nice place to escape from the world for a while. One tiny remark, it would be great to have Wi-Fi available.

Aperture has amazing 270 degree views - just as promised - of Coles Bay and the Freycinet area. It's whimsically appointed and decorated in a way that makes it welcoming and interesting straight away. For a family of five, it offered plenty of sleeping options and room to move. The games room with pool table turned out to be a real treasure. Verina's instructions and information ahead of our visit were perfect and we were able to quickly settle in. The fresh cuttings and note were welcoming. We were able to enjoy local food and walks within a 5 to 10-minute drive from the house. It was cold when we visited, but the heaters and ample air conditioner ensured we were comfortable. Basic supplies are easily purchased at the local shop near the post office but we highly recommend getting groceries on the way to Coles Bay as shopping and supplies there are limited - the IGA in Swansea coming from Hobart or the IGA in Campbell Town coming from Launceston would be the go. Aperture is a beautiful home with a stunning view and easy access to Freycinet. Head to the Freycinet National Park Welcome Centre early in your visit to get all the information you need about walks. This will help you make the most of the area.

The scenic view was a plus point for this apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and the place is spacious for 8 of us. The only downside was the heater was not very warm and so we were feeling cold the whole time, probably due to the fact that it's near the coast and it's winter.

Hi Ivy, Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you had a wonderful time. The heating in this property should be adequate, however we will get some extra heaters. Thank you for the feedback. We hope you had a wonderful Tassie holiday!
