My place is on the closest beach to Managua, with surfing, bird watching, nature and a rustic pueblo. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the spacious and luxurious feel, usually absent neighbors privacy, hot water showers, outdoor spaces, the neighborhood, comfy bed, the light, the stargazing at night while listening to the waves, having the use of a cook and full maid service, optional laundry service.. My place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids).
The property was designed for guests to have optimal views from all guest areas. All bedrooms are equal in size and amenities, which makes the property ideal for friends to enjoy and share.
There is staff on site 24 hrs a day.
Guests are welcome to bring their groceries, however cooking is not allowed. Our cooks will do that for you. You are on vacation to enjoy yourself completely!
Guests have use of the entire house, except the service corridor.
The beach is protected from the ocean by a lava wall, and there are plenty of tide pools to lounge in and explore.
Additional services to ask about include half board and full board options, babysitting, chauffeur, Spanish lessons from qualified teachers.
Interaction with guests
I have had a home in Nicaragua for 10 years. Feel free to ask any questions. If I don't know the answer, I will do my best to find out for you.
el Transito has been a sleepy pueblo until very recently. It is becoming an up and coming destination. The development of the old Leon highway, and being one of the closest beaches to the capital and the airport make it a very attractive tourist destination.
el Transito can be used as a base to tour central and the near north of Nicaragua. The pueblo is 1 hour from Managua, and Leon, and 2 hours from Granada, and the Masatepe region and Chinandega.
Other things to note
Nicaragua is the second safest country in N. America, after Canada. Normal precautions are expected to be taken.
Generally, Nicaragua is a gay friendly destination. Our little pueblo has a gay bar.

I have lived on 4 continents, and traveled extensively. I am Canadian, but have lived in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Alhaurin el Grande, Spain, Singapore, and El Transito, Nicaragua. I love my friends, a bit of adventure, music, food, dogs and reading.
