This granny flat or annex is fully private where you have the entire area for yourself with your own kitchen, lounge, dining, bedroom, bathroom & laundry.
It has modern furnishing & you are not sharing facilities.
The property is in a quiet & scenic location of Waverton, away from the congestion/noise of the city & yet close enough.
Waverton is about 10 minutes by train to the downtown Sydney or CBD & the property is only a 5 min walk to the train station, cafes, restaurants & supermarket.

The space

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
The flat has its own lounge, dining, dining & the bedroom is separated with a door & lock The bathroom has the shower, vanity and toilet. There is also a hallway with a sink for washing dishes and your own washing machine. The internal walls are sandstone which make it very unique and interesting.
The flat is completely furnished with a sofa, double bed, dining table & chairs. fridge, cooktop oven, lcd television, microwave oven, toaster, electric fan, heater, percolator, hair dryer, iron and board. Kitchen utensils are also provided together with plates, cups, wine glasses, knives, fork, spoon, frying pans, etc.
Fresh towels and shampoo in the bathroom, laundry detergents and bed linen are included. Bottled water, tea and coffee are also provided.

The granny flat is positioned at the rear of the main house with a separate entrance for guest access. There are also outdoor chairs provided in the small garden at the back of the house and a clothesline.
Automatic motion lights and dusk lights make the place safe and secure at night.
Unlimited or all day street parking is available in our street and nearby streets. We can also provide one car parking in our driveway.

The host lives in the main house and will be very happy to provide any assistance or information to its guest. Please do not hesitate to ask.

The neighborhood is very pleasant, friendly & peaceful with lots of people walking or jogging to Balls Head Reserve daily
There are cafes for breakfast and lunch, restaurants in the evening, an IGA supermarket, pharmacy, bowling club, laundry, dentist, liquor shop, and meat shop. It is only one suburb away from Crows Nest or North Sydney.
It has a good mix of ages that live in this neighborhood and plenty of parks and a bowling club.

The property is only 5 minutes walk to Waverton train station where you can take a train to go to downtown Sydney, the Opera House, Town Hall, the international and domestic airports, or the Central train station.
It is also a walking distance to North Sydney CBD and to McMahon's Point where you can catch a ferry to go to Circular Quay and transfer to a Manly, Parramatta, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour or Watsons's Bay ferry.
Waverton offers great lookouts or vantage point to best view the city skyline, the beautiful harbour, the bridge and for watching the sunset.

From Waverton, you can easily commute by public transport to the city, airport, beaches & most of Sydney's landmarks

The host will be very happy to provide any information and assistance to our guest.

Guests can even come over just for a cup of tea or coffee.

Other things to note

The flat is very close to walk to Balls Head Reserve where there are picnic grounds and cooking facilities with tables and chair. On the way to the reserve you will pass by the refurbished Coal Loader where you can visit a beautiful garden and walk through the old tunnel. There is also lots of nature walking trail with interesting spots to explore.

We were so glad we chose this location for our mini break in Sydney. The studio is spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need, the towels and linen were lovely and we really appreciated the milk and fresh fruit. Evelyn made us so welcome, a truly delightful lady who seemed so happy to have you stay, even though she had a family member who was unwell she still made sure we were looked after, a lovely host! Waverton is truly amazing, it's a few minutes walk to public transport, supermarket, cafes and great restaurants. The best part of the location is the spectacular views of Sydney harbour from the next street. We would recommend this to everybody but particularly overseas visitors who want to experience a "non touristy" look at Sydney. Excellent stay, thank you.

Stayed here for a week in this cosy, lovely apartment. The place was clean and comfortable. Perfect place to stay in a brilliant location not far from the cbd. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful when needed. We liked the air b n b so much we have booked to stay again.

Amazing place to stay. Wonderful hosts. Invited me into their beautiful home for dinner. Single lady travelling alone they made me feel so welcome and not alone without being intrusive. The annex accommodation is completely self contained with private access. Spotless and very comfortable. Real home away from home. Easy walking access to Waverton station (2 stops from Milsons Point ) which takes you straight over the harbour bridge. Wi fi connection (they stressed if any problems please inform them and they could re boot - Edgar is a computer wiz) I had no problems at all. Definitely recommend without hesitation. Thanks again to Evelyn and Edgar for a most wonderful stay.

Amazing place where to stay. A A clean, private and comfortable flat located in a great position, next to the station and just 10 minutes from the city center by train.
