About this listing
My place is close to great views, restaurants and dining, nightlife, family-friendly activities, the beach. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the comfy bed, the outdoors space, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
This is the loft bedroom on the third floor, with the crooked chimney and super wide pine board pine floor which reflect the unique charm of this house built around 1875. It has a chest of drawers and low closet space under the eaves. You share the bathroom and kitchen/living room with other guests staying in the room below (which you walk through to the bathroom or first floor.
You have access to the bathroom and living room and kitchen, everything except the other bedroom and the small office on the second floor.
Interaction with guests
I'll be available to help when you stay unless I am away on adventures, in which case I'll arrange a check-in.
Other things to note
Be aware that the spiral stair to the bedroom is a little steep, although it has two sturdy hand rails.

-Please keep common spaces tidy, including bathroom. In the kitchen, I ask that everybody clean up, wash, dry and put away dishes after meals so that others have a space ready to prepare and enjoy food.

I'm from Woodstock originally, and have lot's of hobbies - music, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, making things. My profession of restoring old houses borders on a hobby as well, since the business model of time and materials, time is money doesn't quite seem to apply.
In the winter I escape the houses by teaching skiing and snowboarding, currently at Belleayre Mountain on weekends and at Plattekill on Fridays. During the week I'm available to teach or just share a ride to Hunter Mountain or the other local areas. I really like moguls, and I like to help others enjoy them too!
Come up and play in the snow, or play some music (me flute, alto sax) hang out and cook or just hole up and relax. If you speak French or German I would like to practice talking with you a little, I'm not fluent yet.
