The space

This space functions as a fiber artist's studio which means you'll see neatly organized boxes of beautifully colored wool and sewing machines. Because it is a studio, there are supply shelves open to the living space. The studio is uniquely decorated with artwork and vintage pieces like the kitchen sink and stained glass window. This is NOT a good space for young children(under age 8) due to the open shelving and the concrete floors. We allow older children only. There's also a step up into the bathroom which could make it difficult for some people. Internet or TV is NOT available at the studio. If you come, we recommend bringing a hot spot, a book or just enjoy countryside! There is a fire pit available in the yard and we will will supply a limited amount of firewood.

Guest access

Guest have access to the entire acre the studio is on and are welcome to bike and hike the dead end road which ends with a gorgeous seasonal view of Center Hill Lake. There is plenty of room for guests to park a boat on the property beside the studio. The ground is flat for easy backing in and out.

Interaction with guests

Our house is approximately an 1/8 of a mile from the studio. We will interact as little or as much as you wish depending on our schedule. We do have 2 friendly dogs who roam the property but sleep indoors. We also have a tiny house next to the studio with a permanent renter who walks her dogs on a leash.

Other things to note

One night stays welcome during the week or within 24 hours of a Friday/Saturday. We prefer weekends to be 2 night minimums.
There is a step up to the bathroom. Only older children allowed. There is no grocery stores within 20 minutes from here so we recommend you pick food up prior to arrival!

This was absolutely the perfect location for the eclipse. Breanna was available if we needed anything and stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed.

This place was my first airbnb experience and it has set the standard! It felt like I was visiting extended family; they were extremely hospitable and welcoming. If I ever come back to Nashville, I purposely wish to seek this place out in the future. It's the perfect spot to see the night sky, and to visit with some friends or just your significant other. I wish I could stay forever!

Beautiful spot to relax and take in nature. Everything you need to unwind and listen to the sounds of the woods. You can sit outside and see a million stars or relax inside with a beautiful tree filled view. The studio is close enough that you can go into town everyday and check back into calm every evening. It is centrally located to several beautiful parks and is surrounded by great views. The hosts are very quick to respond and accommodating. Great place to stay, will defiantly book again.

I stayed at Breanna's place with my parents after a very stressful time period of work at our family Business, and it was the perfect get away for a weekend of relaxation and unwinding. The studio is very beautiful and very clean, and the area surrounding it is absolutely beautiful. On the grounds there is are nice areas to sit and enjoy your surroundings on the front and side of the house, a large driveway, a porch swing, a fire pit, and gravel road that dead ends up above Center Hill Lake. The location is impeccable for plenty of fun in the surround areas, but we found it difficult to get out of the studio as there is everything anyone with a creative side needs to express themselves. However, when we did leave, it was just moments to Edgar Evins State Park/ Marina, Center Hill Dam, Caney Fork Outdoors- Big Rock Market, and the one and only Caney Fork River- Home to world-renowned trout fishing. This studio is truly the perfect get away for people of all interests to get away from fast paced city life or the daily humdrum to get away and truly enjoy themselves and some of the most beautiful scenery Tennessee has to offer. 1000% will stay again!!!

What a wonderful spot. Secluded and surrounded by beauty, this was a relaxing stay. It was a comfortable, creatively designed space that showed what an artist Breanna is. Seeing her work around the studio was a plus. Easy access the the Appalachian Craft Center and scenic back roads, made for a great stay.
