Welcome to our beautiful property located on the shores of Balsam Lake. Enjoy 108 feet of frontage and 2 cottages! The main cottage is equipped with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The waterside bunkie has a kitchen, living area (with pull out couch), bedroom & 1 bathroom. The rental of this property includes both cottage and bunkie, making it ideal for big families.
Balsam Lake Provincial Park is located within walking distance from the cottage & the town of Coboconk is 7 km away.
Our space is unique because it features 2 separate properties; a main cottage and a waterfront bunkie. This makes it perfect for extended families or large groups.
Guests can access the main cottage, the waterfront bunkie and the property, which includes a front and backyard. The backyard features a fire pit and grass for relaxing by the water. You are welcome to bring your own boat if you wish. There is a public boat launch in Balsam Lake Provincial Park, which is a short 5 minute drive away.
Interaction with guests
We will not be on site but will be accessible should you have any questions or concerns.
Other things to note
The cottage is on a holding tank. We ask guests to be mindful of the system and conserve water as much as possible. Overuse of the system will cause backing up, which is not pleasant.
We really appreciate your help keeping the cottage going for years to come!
- We DO NOT provide linens OR bath towels so please bring your own. Also, please bring your own personal flotation devices for the water.
- There is one BBQ at the main cottage for use. If you happen to use all of the propane we would ask that you make a note of it so that we are aware.
- We DO NOT HAVE WI-FI.
- There is a fire pit but we ask that you respect fire bans, as posted.

We live and work in Toronto, Ontario, but enjoy spending as much time as possible at our cottage in the Kawarthas. We love spending time with friends and family, exploring small towns, hockey and baseball.
