Palladwr Coach House is a lovely, characterful Victorian cottage, within walking distance of Shaftesbury. It is ideal for couples, business travellers and families and is an excellent base for exploring Shaftesbury and the surrounding area - countryside, towns and Jurassic coast.
Built in 1860 as a Coach House, the property spent many years being used as a garage and workshop but has recently undergone a full refurbishment to create a light, airy and characterful 1 bedroom cottage. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen and dining room and a spacious separate lounge with a kingsize sofa bed. The first floor has a good sized double bedroom and a bathroom with shower over the bath.
The ground floor benefits from underfloor heating and has a well equipped kitchen including induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. There's a full range of pots and pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery.
There's always some essential supplies plus a few extras - tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fruit juice, muesli, yogurts.....
There is also a patio with table and benches to the side of the coach house for your use.
Off street parking is available for 2 cars directly outside the property.
The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk, as are the shops, pubs and restaurants of Shaftesbury.
Wifi is provided by a booster but it can be unreliable.
The Coach House is adjacent to our home and we would endeavour to be available to meet and greet on arrival, however, should that not be possible there is a key safe.
