Rose's place was perfect for us! A short walk to the town centre and near two mostly empty car parks. The kitchen was beyond what we expected, with loads of dishes and pots that allowed us to make a few large home cooked meals. Living room was very cozy, bedrooms spacious and all very clean. Would recommend for families and groups

Myself and my friends loved our stay at the Old Shop. The location was perfect for easy access into town and there was plenty of nearby parking. The accommodation was very clean & comfortable and the house was well equipped with everything you would need! Rose and her daughters were so helpful in the run up to our stay; advising us on alternative routes to get there (as we arrived on a day with road closures) and providing us with all the details we needed for arrival. Thank you all!

This was our first airbnb experience and we were not disappointed. The Old Shop is decorated beautifully and felt very homely. The 3 rooms were spacious. We've really enjoyed our stay. The milk left in the fridge meant we didn't need to look for a shop at night.

Rose's place is exactly as described, very well equipped and in a lovely location. She also provides fresh milk and mint cakes which is a nice touch. Everything a family could need on holiday. We would definitely stay again.

My name is Rose and I love my family, gardening and ginger beer! I have lived in Cumbria for over 20 years with my husband and daughters, Sonia and Petrina, who help me manage my airbnb listing! I love to be busy, I'm always on the go and love a project. We hope you like The Old Shop and would love to welcome you for a visit!
