The Old Shop can be found on Wildman Street, opposite one of the oldest buildings in Kendal, The Castle Dairy. Just a stones throw from the River Kent and plenty of green space to enjoy, including Kendal Castle. Just a minutes walk from Kendal train station and a two minute walk into the town centre with shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Ideally located to enjoy the bustling market town of Kendal!
The Old Shop is full of charm and character. Special attention had been paid to equip it with all the things necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
There is a lovely kitchen, with electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Tea, coffee and sugar will be available to make that all important cup of tea or coffee after your journey!
The living room and separate dining room allow you the room to relax and eat with ease. The living room has a television and a DVD player.
There is a shower room upstairs and a downstairs cloakroom toilet.
The bedrooms consist of two double rooms and a twin bedroom.
Bedding and towels are provided for your convenience.
Guests have full access to the whole house and its contents. The house is perfectly situated in the town centre.

Other things to note
Parking: The Old Shop, Kendal does not have allocated parking. However, due to its town centre location parking is not an issue. There are two small pay and display car parks approx 100 yards from the house, with parking available at £5 for 24 hours.
The first of these is at Kendal Museum, just opposite Kendal train station. The address is Station Road, Kendal,
Cumbria, LA9 6BT.
The second is just off Wildman Street. The address is Beezon Road, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 6FS. Travel along Wildman Street and take a right just past the The Old Shop. Then take an immediate right again to access the small pay and display car park.
Additionally there are free parking spaces to be found in Kendal, not far from the property. There are some on street spaces to the right hand side of St. George's Walk, (by Gooseholme and the River Kent). To locate these go past The Old Shop and take an immediate left just before the bridge. You will see the spaces to the right just beyond the Riverside Kiosk Cafe.
