The view is amazing! Franks place is not to be missed. We loved everything about our two night stay in this modern, clean, comfortable, private, and easily accessible restoration.

This was a dream stay. It has the charm and character of a shepherd's cottage, but the detail and luxuries of a resort! The decor is simple, artistic and modern, but not so much that it loses its comfy cottage vibe. The view is where it's at though! Absolutely stunning. And if I had been more of a chef then I would have definitely brought out my Julia Child, as the kitchen has everything you can imagine. If you are planning to explore Donegal, hike the Slieve League, etc., then this is a great central point that gives you the experience of a village stay but still within close proximity to several of the sites. If you are weighing your options between places as I was, just choose this one.

We had the most wonderful three day stay at Frank's place! Just wish it were longer. The view from the home of the sea and Slieve League is so spectacular you might find yourself spending the day on the patio watching the sun pass over. However if you do venture out there are many gorgeous walks you can do straight out the door as well as so much to see within a short drive. Frank's place has been beautifully restored with great attention to detail, comfort, and beauty. I have booked many a rental that claim to have been outfitted for those who like to cook, but few live up to the boast as Frank's home does. The kitchen has everything and more! Frank's place is truly five stars in every regard!

The view from the kitchen was amazing and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The house was a short scenic walk to Kilcar and close to other local towns. Frank was a great host, very communicative and quick to respond to any questions, offering loads of good advice on things to do locally. For any keen cooks the range master and array of pots, pans and utensils offer a chance to prepare a great meal. Thanks for having us Frank.

The most beautiful sunset we had in all of Ireland . Unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Frank but the pictures don't do the beauty of this place justice, if you are looking for some place with less tourists, outstanding views and the peacefulness of the perfect cottage this is it! Will return!

Frank's place is amazing. Beautifully decorated, spacious, and a gorgeous view. We only got to stay here for one night, but I definitely hope to be back for longer some day. Frank was so helpful in ensuring we found the location and his house tips were informative! Highly recommend!!!
