My husband and I stayed here 3 nights while we explored Mt. Rainier. It's a cute, classic cabin in the woods. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the bed we used was very comfortable. Internet was fast and reliable. It was also great having a washer and dryer to use! We really enjoyed sitting out front around the fire ring once the days cooled off. The yard is very quiet and peaceful.

This is a wonderfully private and quiet cabin in the forest of Mount Rainier. The natural beauty is other-worldly and the absolute silence outdoors struck us as incredibly peaceful. The cabin itself is comfortable and accommodating, while being rustic and cute. Very fast internet access, and surprisingly, our T-Mobile phones had reception!

Was a good trip overall, we were able to easily sleep 7 with four people sharing the double beds. Double beds were comfortable, town was quite lovely. The pizza place nearby was really good. It was a little cramped sitting 7 people in the main living room but we were able to make it work. Outside or in the bedroom we wouldn't have had a problem.

A pleasant, clean cabin in the woods. The kitchen was nicely appointed (for a cabin), the beds were comfortable, the wi-fi worked well, and there were some neat touches (e.g., the stained glass window, the elk mounted over the door, the play rug in the bunk room) that suggest this is a well-loved retreat for the owners. It's a few miles out of 'downtown' Packwood in a quiet, wooded, residential setting. The location was great for exploring Mt. Rainier and the nearby national forest. We also took advantage of the country-club pool that's about 2 miles down the road (the $5 per person was money well spent on a 100 degree day). Overall, we thought it was a good value for our money. I'd definitely recommend this one, especially for families who mainly want a home base for exploring the area. My one big suggestion to the owners would be to put a screen in the window in the loft. Even if you're not visiting during a heat wave, I'd imagine it gets a bit warm up there.
