Large three bedroom chalet in a classic beach style. Overlooking a large grassed area, a short walk from the shop and beach access.

The space

This large well equipped chalet offers excellent family accommodation. Situated in a quiet, natural area of the site, close to the shop and beach access. Decorated throughout in a modern beach style, this property benefits from a lovely lounge with french windows overlooking the open park area, a large family kitchen with french windows opening to the side of the property and a sunny sheltered area at the side of the property with a picnic table. Ideally situated for all the attractions of West Cornwall, Mermaid's Nest is the perfect place to sit back and relax after a day on the beach or out and about.

Bedroom One - Bedroom One – Large and spacious double bedroom with double bed, double quilt and four pillows. Two medium sized windows that let in plenty of light. A bedside table and lamp. A large chest of draws and built in wardrobe with plenty of storage space. There would be plenty of room for a cot in this room, if a family wanted to stay with a baby or infant.

Bedroom Two-Very modern and light spacious room with a nautical theme. Two full sized single beds with two single quilts and 2 pillows. Bedside table and lamp between the two beds. Large fitted wardrobe and a chest of five draws. The large window offers views out onto the park.

Bedroom Three- Modern bedroom with mutual decoration. There are full size bunk beds in this bedroom. The bedroom consists of a large chest of three draws. Stripped curtains and a rug.

Kitchen/Diner - Fully fitted kitchen with plenty of storage cupboards, cooker, washing machine, microwave, large fridge freezer, dining table and 6 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, plates, cups and cutlery. The kitchen has French doors which open up to the patio area which has a wooden bench to sit out and soak up the sun.

Lounge - Very bright, spacious and modern lounge. Equipped with flat screen TV / DVD two large two seater sofas and coffee table. There are French doors offering views to the front of the property.

Large nautical themed shower room. There is also a towel rail to hang towels to dry.

Toilet - Large and modern toilet with WC, large mirror, small shelving unit and large sink.

Hallway – coat hooks to hang your coats on and the fuse box is situated just below on the right hand side.

Situated on a level area of the park, Mermaid's Nest has easy access and level adjacent parking.

Situation- Located on Riviere Towans park which is 40 acres of unspoilt, natural, undulating sand dunes above the three mile, golden sand beach at Hayle, St. Ives Bay, Cornwall. The park is one of the oldest in the country with the first chalets being here in the late 1800’s. Now a beautiful site with a vast range of individual privately owned accommodation including beach chalets to bungalows and lodges, many with stunning sea views and all within a few minutes’ walk of this amazing beach. The park is a tranquil setting without modern additions such as a club house to spoil the relaxed beach house atmosphere. Riviere Towans is on St. Ives Bay at Hayle and within a short drive from well-known places such as St. Ives, Penzance and Lands End. Many visitors enjoy not only the beautiful beaches but the picturesque fishing villages and peaceful countryside West Cornwall has to offer. For those seeking more excitement there are great attractions and sporting opportunities close at hand. Cornwall has always been a favourite of artists, writers and film producers and its rugged coasts and beautiful coves have featured in numerous films and TV series most recently, the popular Poldark series.

Useful information- All the properties we manage are self-contained, self-catering. All the kitchen equipment you will require for your stay is provided in the property. All properties will include a microwave, TV, iron, heating to name but a few of the basics. A large number will also include washing machines but do check the property particulars above.
Linen – We provide duvets and pillows but guests are requested to bring their own bed linen and personal linen such as towels. If you are traveling from aboard of by public transport please let us know as we do carry a limited stock of linen for these situation. This allows us to provide you with the best possible price for your holiday
If anything is missing from a property we carry a large stock of spare items at our office which is within a couple of miles of any of the properties. Just give us a call!

Interaction with guests

Keys can be collected from the key office (Reception) to the right as you enter of the Riviere Towans park. Collection time will differ depending on arrival day.

SATURDAY 3pm – 6pm
SUNDAY 11am – 1pm
MONDAY – FRIDAY 2pm – 5pm

If you are likely to arrive after these times please call the office on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) where alternative arrangements for key collection can be made. For any enquiries please do give us a call.

You can find us by taking the Hayle exit off the A30. Cross the double roundabout and turn off right at the recreation ground. Follow the road via Phillack and Toms Holidays is approximately one mile on the left.

Other things to note

Please remember that duvets and pillows are provided but you are required to bring your own duvet covers, pillow cases, bottom sheets and personal linen such as towels and tea towels.

Hi, we are a small family run property managment company based in Hayle, St Ives Bay. All the properties we manage are within a mile or so of our office so we are never far away. We have been in the holiday trade for 40+ years and with 5 generations of our own family having owned holiday homes here at the beach in Hayle, you might say we like the place!
