15 Parkes Street is an elevated timber cottage built in 1912  with 10 stairs to access the house.

It has 5 bedrooms altogether. There are 4 downstairs - 2 queen bedrooms,1 double and 1 twin and one double bed in a loft sleeping space.

There are 2 bathrooms downstairs and 3rd separate toilet.The house has high ceilings,polished floors,back and front deck,BBQ.It is 3 star rated and 5min walk to Lismore CBD,shops and restaurants.

Was a good house for what was needed It could possibly have some basic maintenance to fix a few things such as light bulb on front porch, door mobs to bathroom take a bit to open. The pool advertised is not on the property it's at another one 1.5km away.

Excellent central location. It's a lovely homely house that was perfect for our work trip. Helen describes it as being basic, and yes it isnt the ritz.. but it's warm, comfortable and very spacious. Beautiful gardens to relax in after a big day at work and great hosts.

Helen accurately advertises her house, 'no fluffy white' towels is her adjective. There are plenty of bath linens. The beds are good and bedrooms well fitted out for numerous people. The bathrooms have all you need with plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, dishes and cutlery. And the private 'park' behind worth enjoying. MC

My six friends and I didn't get to stay in 15 Parkes Street, the house that I'd booked, as the previous tenants had left the place in a terrible state. Helen, the owner of the property, decided she couldn't put us into the house as it was and therefore separated us and put us into two of her more upmarket properties in the same street. I was initially disappointed that we weren't all together as planned but Helen was very generous and accommodating.
