Jesse was such a wonderful and gracious hostess. She went above and beyond by providing information on the local area, maps and a wonderful welcome packet. Her home was spectacular and perfect for anyone who wants to stay near public transportation and the Castro.

Jesse was extremely welcoming and super friendly, and her apartment was exactly as lovely as the pictures make it look! The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in, and the neighbourhood is really cool. Really appreciated all Jesse's suggestions, including the Hardly Strictly festival, which I probably wouldn't have heard about otherwise. All in all, a great experience - highly recommend!

Great experience! The place was spotless, the bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and the place looked exactly as it did in the photos on Airbnb. The neighborhood was safe and always hopping! Jesse was very accommodating and very responsive. I would live to stay there again!

Jesse was an outstanding host and took the time to orient us to the area. The apartment is well located and it was easy to get around via public transportation. We recommend eating at Kitchen Story and trying the "Burgah" Boy. If we are ever in San Francisco again, we will definitely reach out to Jesse.

Jesse made us feel so welcome! She was super accommodating and gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to eat in the area. The studio was even cuter in person and in the perfection location. The studio was walking distance to great restaurants and public transportation nearby got us everywhere we wanted to go!

Response from Jesse:
I'm glad you guys had a good stay! I'm so sorry I didn't mention the trash pick-up! I've lived here a number of years, and have forgotten how nosey and disruptive this can be. The noise can vary at times, and it sounds like this particular Monday was quite loud. I'll be sure to mention this to my next set of guests that stay, and will definitely look into investing in a white noise machine. Thanks for the advice!

Perfect location that is close to Dolores Park, the Mission, Castro, and a nice walk to Hayes Valley. It's a 10 minute walk to 16th St. BART which goes straight to the airport. Jesse's place looks exactly like the photos: a bright, mod, cheerful studio apartment. It is cozy as others have said, but much bigger than a hotel room would be. Bed was comfy. The kitchen is great, and there's a small dining table. Her wifi was easy to use, a small thing but it matters. Jesse was super welcoming and warm. She left suggestions for places to see, restaurants. She even left a couple beers that I never got to! It is definitely a place for people who like cities. The street noise was something I noticed--but I slept great all the nights I was there. I plan to stay again. She even let me stay an extra night when my flights got messed up--super sweet and helpful.

A native Midwesterner, I was raised in Chile, South America and haven't stopped traveling since. My international adventures have stretched across continents, and are built around hostels and friendship. When I'm not globe-trekking, I can be found welcoming guests into my Castro studio with wine, hugs and an insider restaurant guide.

Some things you should know about me:

• I'm a macaroni and cheese connoisseur, and will give lectures on artisan cheese combinations at any mention of the words "pasta".
• I'm a huge homesharing advocate, and have been working hard with the Airbnb team as a homesharing advocate surrounding San Francisco legislation.
• Guitars and bonfires are the loves of my life. Both of them together is pure bliss.

San Francisco is simply magical. I dare you not to fall in love with this city.

Pura vida!
