Welcome to Wanchese. A small village that is named after the local Indian Chief who provided for his tribe through the provisions of the surrounding waters. The village still remains dependent on our waters. We are known world wide for our Seafood Industry, Yacht and sports fishing, boat building, and home of the National Geographic Wicked Tuna North Vs. South. Our waters provide a unique way of life that makes all happy to be here. Come live THE LOCAL LIFE with us.
A clean, light, comforting space that will make your weekend a relaxing one.
We have plenty of parking in our 1\2 acre yard. Room for multiple vehicles or boat and trailer. We welcome you to meet our family. Visit with us in the common spaces. Can place food in the fridge and use the coffee pot and microwave.
We have a nice front porch and patio for kicking back on.
We can provide beach towels, chairs, and coolers so you can make your get away easy.

This is our home. We are raising children and wish to make it comfortable for all ages.
No foul language, quiet while coming in late of night, No smoking or drinking of alcohol in the home.
We are a busy family that includes two teens and one child. We are born and raised "natives", as the locals say. We love living on an Island. Its a great community with strong bonds and relationships. We say its the locals that make it so special. We love to travel but always feel blessed to call Wanchese our home. Roanoke Island is the jewel of the Outer Banks. It is where the locals live and retreat to. Join us in living THE LOCAL LIFE.
