My place is close to Sinharaja Rain Forest, great views, art and culture. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

If you are looking for a place off the beaten path and want to experience what it's like in the country I recommend this place to you. Nestled in the middle of a tea plantation and rolling hills the views are stunning. We greatly enjoyed the little pool overlooking everything and watching the workers harvesting tea leaves. The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They also served us delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is not included in the price of the stay but is priced very reasonable. Overall we had a wonderful cultural experience and would recommend this to anyone looking for the same.
This place is out of this world! From the moment Yasiru picked us up in his old 4x4 we were made to feel welcome. After the short (bumpy!) drive up the mountain we arrived at Nestwood and were blown away! The view is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, made all the better by the infinity pool looking over it. Nestwood Bungalow is fantastic. It is nothing too fancy but has a real old world charm and is perfectly situated at the top of the mountain blending seamlessly into the surrounding the tea plantation. you really do feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but in the best possible way! We stayed for 3 nights and had the most fantastic time. Yasiru and his brother Naditha made us feel at home and the service and food were of the highest quality, and would not be out of place in a top restaurant anywhere in the world. The guys provided breakfast, lunch and dinner for the entire family and I don't think I have ever had better curry anywhere in the world! it was also unbelievably good value! Yasiru was also very kind to take us on a trek into the surrounding rain forest and take us down the hill for a tour of the local tea factory. We will definitely be back to visit in the future.
During our trip in SL we needed a place to work and see something of the country. This is the perfect place. What a beautiful place to stay and work. Surrounded by tea plantations and with a stunning view. Picked up in an original Daihatsu Taft and after a nice 4x4 drive through the tea plantation, we reached the accommodation. We were pampered with great food. We were really reluctant to having to return to Colombo. Next time we sincerely hope we have to opportunity to come back and if possible somewhat longer.
