Beautiful, renovated apartment from the 1950s, located on the sixth-floor, and 106 square meters (1140 square feet) in size with a large and luminous terrace with an unobstructed view to the ocean.
The surrounding neighborhood is quaint and offers numerous businesses, restaurants, bars, theaters, supermarkets, banks, currency exchange houses. It is blocks away from the Hotel Melia Cohiba and Havana’s famous “Malecon” (oceanfront promenade), and just a 10-minute car ride to Old Havana.
This beautiful apartment from the era of the fifties was designed by the famous architect Alberto Prieto. It is located on the sixth floor of the known Calle Calzada in a very attractive neighborhood of El Vedado.
Calzada Heights measures 106 square meters (1140 square feet) which includes a wide and luminous terrace with a comfortable sitting area. It includes a clear view of the sea adding a lovely tropical view for your breakfast to start your day.
With two spacious bedrooms joined by a full bathroom, the Master holds a King bed and a large walk in closet with a secured safety box. The second bedroom houses two full beds with another large closet and the third bedroom has a twin bed with a full bathroom. All bedrooms contain their respective sets of clean sheets as well as spare ones.
The bathrooms are equipped with hot and cold water, towels and replacement sheet sets for comfortable daily use.
The bright, spacious living room and dining room have been tastefully decorated with a minimalist retro design. The kitchen and lodge are very well equipped with a microwave as well as a washing machine.
Beds, furniture, bed linen, towels, decorations and kitchen items are all imported to improve the comfort of our guests.
We can provide all the information needed for our guests to have an easy, hassle-free stay and make the best of their time in Havana.
•Complete information on the best and most noteworthy restaurants and “paladares” (casual eateries), including tourist-oriented and ones and local favorites.
•An optional driver service, either per-hour or per-day, in a classic cars typical of Havana. This can facilitate transportation to and from Old Havana and other points of interest, and offers better comfort and security than public transportation. Airport arrivals and departures can also be arranged.
•An hourly tour guide for historic tours of Old Havana—a must for getting to know the real Havana and its culture.
•Optional for an extra fee—a cellular telephone ready to use with a pre-paid card for local use in Cuba to land lines or other cellphones.
•Option upon arrival—a pre-pay internet card that can be used for Wifi access in designated zones throughout the city.
•No parties or events.
•Families ideally with children 12 years old and older.
•No smoking inside the apartment, bedrooms and living room, only on the terrace.
•Guests must show their identification or passports upon arrival.
•Access to the apartment is reserved ONLY for the persons renting the apartment. IT IS NOT ALLOWED to host guests or people not on the reservation.
•A cleaning service will take place every three days, and is included in the rental price.
•Trash must be taken out daily and be placed in the containers outside of the building on Calle 2.
•Please avoid throwing toilet paper and other hygiene products in the toilet, and use the trash bins located in the bathrooms instead.
•Due to frequent changes in the weather, and sudden rains throughout the day, it is requested that guests ALWAYS leave windows closed in all bedrooms, kitchen and terrace when they are not in the apartment, in order to avoid water damage.
•We would appreciate it very much if you would turn off the air conditioners whenever you leave the apartment . Please only turn on the units when all doors and windows are closed. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
•Failure to follow these rules could be grounds for terminating the rental agreement.

Our guests can always get in touch with us via Airbnb, or with our local caretaker in Havana by cellphone, who lives nearby and can be of assistance for any needs.
Other things to note
Please be aware of any visa requirements that may apply to you, as well as insurance.
- No smoking inside the apartment, only on the terrace.
- No pets allowed.
- Parties or events are not permitted.
- You must show ID or passport at the time of arrival.
- Access to the apartment is for ONLY those that reserved.
- It is NOT PERMITTED to host visitors or have anyone else enter if they are not part of the original reserve.
-Cleaning service will take place every three days which will be included in the price of the lease.
-Waste is deposited in the containers located on 2nd Street.
-Avoid throwing paper or sanitary towels in the toilet.
-Upon leaving, you must leave all windows closed to prevent water from entering. At times, it rains unexpectedly and with great intensity.
In order to ensure the care and safety of the apartment and their belongings, it is important to follow certain basic rules:
- committing to return it undamaged at the end of your stay.
- guests must declare and financially take responsibility for any damages for which the guest is responsible.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
