We arrived in the afternoon and where welcomed by Franco's parents and traditional Cubata which is a rum and Coke. Our Hosts we are very helpful with the showing us around the house and explaining the rules. They also are very helpful with helping us organize our daytrips and giving us information as of work to exchange money or go eat. They let Us use Cuban cell phone which was very helpful with communicating with them. We decided to use One of their services – breakfast, which we were very pleased with. It was fresh light and simply delicious. Everything around the apartment was working properly without any issues. Air conditioning was a cherry on top of the cake because it was really hot and coming back to it cool house was great. Location of the apartment is perfect. It was close to get everywhere especially to Malecon which we hang out almost every day. Cohiba hotel is right around the corner which was very convenient because that's where we were exchanging our money. It was very easy to get a taxi and we felt really safe in that neighborhood. I definitely recommend Franco's apartment if you going to stay in Cuba and you don't want to commute a lot. I'm giving this apartment 10 stars and I'm jealous for whoever is going to go to Cuba next.

My two sister -in-laws, husband and I visited Cuba from June 27th to July 6th. My entire experience with Airbnb has been fantastic. When I initially booked our Airbnb the host Franco responded very quickly. He provided a ton of useful information (restaurants, money exchange, airport travel, etc) prior to our arrival. He was very responsive to any questions that I had. Upon arrival , Franco's parents and his cousin Ariadna , who is the manager were there to greet us. They gave us a tour of the apartment provided information about local restaurants and welcomed us with Cuba Libres! Franco's apartment was better than I imagined. The apartment was beautifully decorated. We have plenty of space. Two out of the three bedrooms had air-conditioning which allowed us to sleep very comfortably. The third bedroom had a fan, however, my sister-in-law elected to share the second bedroom with her sister (which had twin beds) because it was too warm in the 3rd bedroom. It was great having two bathrooms. After a long day of sightseeing and enjoying our time in Havana and beyond (we did a 2 day trip to Cienfuegos and Trinidad) it was very nice to come back to a relaxing environment. The location in Vedado was great. We were in walking distance to restaurants and cool venues such as Fabrica de Arte (which is an absolute must do). It was also easy to hail a cab. The apartment was cleaned twice during our stay. We had everything we needed, fresh towels, comfortable linen and a safe. We did have difficulty setting the safe, however, Ariadna provided us with a key. We also used the washing machine (we packed laundry detergent pods). There is a clothes line and a drying rack. It was great to go home with clean clothes. We purchased breakfast for 5 CUC per person several times during our stay. The food was great. Ariadna provided an assortment of vegetables, fresh fruit, omelettes, ham , pastries , bread, coffee and a fresh blended juice. The refrigerator was stocked with soft drinks and water. I really enjoyed having access to a kitchen. We purchased a bucket of mangoes on our way back from Vinales. We stored our mangoes in the crisper which kept them fresh. One of the best amenities was the cell phone. We used it the entire time we were in Cuba. We reloaded it once with a new phone card which was only 5 CUC. Ariadna programmed her number into the phone so that we could reach her. I speak some Spanish but I'm not fluent. We did not have any major difficulty communicating, as Ariadna speaks some English. Between the two of us we did just fine! It was a pleasure meeting Franco's family. They provided a wonderfully welcoming environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cuba and would definitely stay at Franco's home again.

This place has a great location when it comes to groups that like to walk and/or live the experience of a local. Me and my two girlfriends that stayed at this condo had the time of our lives. Everything is so close and safe as you wouldn't imagine! Second time in Cuba and won't be last, definitely renting this place the next time i visit. So thankful for the delicious breakfast we had every morning and the neatness of the place. Hotels are overrated... I definitely recommend you to book this place if you plan on staying in Havana. Cheers!

I enjoyed my stay at Franco's place. The home is clean and had enough space for the four of us who stayed there. I had no issues finding taxis on Linea street which is about a minute walk from Franco's place. Lastly, I did feel safe staying here. I had a great time during my trip.

Of the many Airbnb's I have stay in, both nationally (USA) and internationally, this has been one of my best experiences. To start, the home is clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. It is in a safe neighborhood and is close (2 blocks) to attractions, a cadeca (currency exchange), the ocean (el Malecón), great restaurants, an internet Hotspot, taxis and more. We enjoyed the fresh breeze that came through each of the windows and the ocean views. Although we never felt endangered, we appreciated the security system and strong lock system to secure the home. But apart from the home itself, we were made to feel safe and at home by Franco's family who greeted upon our arrival. On our first night, they spent time showing us where everything was, and even offered us a Cuba Libre (rum and coke) to toast to the occasion. We were provided with a cell phone to keep in contact with the hosts and make in-country calls. We were also given wifi internet cards at a very minimal cost and were served a homemade, authentically Cuban breakfast each day for a minimal cost. Before entering each day to make breakfast, our host would call the cell to make sure she could enter. I could rave for pages upon pages on how much I enjoyed my stay in Cuba and much of the reason was because of this space that became my temporary home. We are already planning to return. And will certainly book with Franco again when we do.

Franco's place was exactly as the pictures shown. The apartment is exceptionally clean, great views, safe building, amazing air conditioner! It's the perfect place to stay in La Habana, as it's very close to Habana viaja, the neighborhood has a great mixture of restaurants, markets and within blocks of the malecon. My family enjoyed being out all day touring and returning to this fabulous place. I believe it made our trip amazing, having this comfortable home to come back to after a long day. Franco's parents are amazing hosts and his cousin Ariadna made us breakfast that got our day started right! She is also very knowledgeable about the art history in cuba. Can't say enough great things about this place! Will return!
