In the heart of Old Town and in a very private well designed house with its own secure courtyard and fitted out with all you need. What could be better? Not a lot! Nick is very hospitable and responsive. Would come again for sure.

Wonderful place! Impeccable cleanliness and customer service. The rooms were beautifully decorated and I have never smelled sheets like these. The garden was beautiful with a comfortable swing and aromatic roses. The location is perfect, the old part of Plovdiv is a very unique special place with incredibly peaceful atmosphere with ancient history, art and culture infusing every cobble stone. Great food is around the corner. The hosts were great, my husband forgot a shirt and they sent it to us all the way to the USA. Highly recommended for American tourist especially, the house and Plovdiv exceed expectations on every aspect. Thank you for a perfect stay!

The Old House with the Piano is a charming place to stay. It has plenty of atmosphere, both inside and out – my friend and I especially liked the enclosed courtyard area, where we used the very good barbecue on two evenings. The kitchen is equipped for making meals – in particular, there is an impressively large (and cold) fridge. Nikolay provided a complimentary bottle of local wine and the first cup of morning coffee – after that you can pay 1 lev / 50cents for further coffee-machine capsules. The house is a good combination of old and modern: while the house itself is absolutely in place in ancient Plovdiv, there is reliable wifi and the showers are excellent. Nikolay is a terrific host. He sent on plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area in advance of our stay and was easy to communicate with throughout. Check-in was friendly and straightforward – we were met by Nick’s father and his daughter (who has excellent English). We were able to park our car a few metres away from the front gate – very straightforward. All in all, this is an excellent place to stay for anyone exploring Plovdiv and its environs, and I would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderfull stay at Nick's place! The house and the small garden is very comfortable and charming. The street where the house is, is very quiet and picturesque, but still it is just a short walk away from cool bars, good restaurants and a shopping area, and it is sentered in the middle of the beautyfull old town! We were two couples that rented the house together, and we all warmly recommend it! Thank you Nick and Irena for your hospitality, helpfullness and wonderfull service! :-)

The "Old House with Piano" in Plovdiv may be the most pleasant Airbnb place I've ever stayed. Our host Nick and his wife Irina have done a great job of fixing up a small house in Plovdiv's Old Town to make it comfortable for their guests. Don't expect super-modern which would be out of place here but the layout and furnishings are all well selected and appropriate. Its two bedrooms and two baths were perfect for me and a friend travelling together and would be just as good for two couples. The combined living room, dining area and kitchen are all comfortable and well equipped. We ate out most of the time but the kitchen has everything need to fix meals. The coffee machine with a supply of coffee capsules was especially appreciated in the mornings. (Nick treats you the first day; after that you're expected to pay for or replace the capsules you use.) As for location, there's not much to say except it's in a quiet street but convenient to walk any place in the old town you might want to go. (Note: Plovdiv is an ancient city on a hill so expect to walk hills and rocky paved streets.) If you don't come with a super big auto you'll find parking close by. Nick was very friendly and helpful about arranging check-in when we arrived late. And he has wonderful suggestions about what to do in Plovdiv and information about other areas of Bulgaria. I really hope I'll be able to stay here again when I return to Plovdiv.
