Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
We welcome you to stay with us in a room within this traditional Grade 2 listed Fisherman's Cottage. A perfect location steps to the Harbour front, beaches, local restaurants, and Galleries. Full of character and charm, with a Cornish range, exposed granite walls, even the original Coffin hatch. Unique art and thoughtful touches. A small and cozy room which is tastefully furnished, with a comfortable king sized bed, double wardrobe. There is a flat screen TV for your enjoyment.

The space
You can expect a warm and friendly welcome, always happy to help with local information on making your trip as special as possible.

Please note you have use of the kitchen and dining room with a lovely sofa to sit and relax. Feel free to have tea and coffee throughout your stay. We provide fresh milk in the fridge.

Please note we live in the property, however we are very easy going and want you to have a excellent experience whilst staying here.

We are unable to store surfboards and wetsuits.

Prebook parking through St Ives Rugby Club. Look up online and save the hassle of finding a parking space.

Without exception we do not accommodate dogs or children

We like to say nothing is too much trouble, so whatever your requirements please let me know beforehand. Should you wish to book a table in one of the popular local restaurants (these can book up weeks ahead) then please let me know and I can try make sure you have a reservation to suit you ahead of arrival.

Guest access
You will be greeted on arrival and shown to your room.
We are very easy going, so please just relax and treat the place as home from home.

Please understand the accommodation has a shared bathroom with shower with all occupants, this has proved not to be an issue with guests we have hosted.

Please be aware the internal staircase is narrow and steep with no handrail if you have mobility problems this could be an issue

Other things to note
This is the smaller of the two bedroom's available to book and whilst the space is quite minimal the room is very comfortable and kept to a high standard. There is a double socket with USB ports to recharge your Smartphone or Laptop

Location

Saint Ives, England, United Kingdom

St Ives is magical and has something for everyone. The Cottage is located in a street behind the famous Sloop Inn. It would take you just minutes to walk to The Tate, Porthgwidden and Porthmeor and my favourite little spot Bamaluz beach. In fact everybody that has visited us always comments on the great location, no steep hills to climb or walking outside of town.

Due to being in the heart of town you can expect traffic and pedestrian noise at times

Moved to St Ives 7 years ago where I met and married my wonderful husband Taner. Just love the beaches especially through the seasons, from strong winter storms and dramatic waves to the blistering golden sands and turquoise seas in the summer. Spend time in the local countryside where We have an allotment and enjoy growing our own fruit, salads and vegetables. We have been hosting with Airbnb for many years now and take great pleasure from hosting people from all over the UK and worldwide. Everyone has a story to tell and its always fun to talk to people and find out what brings them to St Ives. We always make time to assist our guests with local tips and exciting days out. We hope you have an enjoyable stay.
