We had a really lovely three days in the Bridge House Annexe. It felt very much like our own space, particularly with the attached garden area to relax in. The rooms were comfortable and worked well for a family of three. We particularly loved having the Forest on our doorstep. Lynne was very welcoming and helpful, and furnished us with good advice and useful maps of the area. All in all a really good experience.

Fantastic cottage in a brilliant location. Lynn and James were very informative and gave us some great tips for getting the most out of our stay. I would highly recommend the Beresfords restaurant at the Balmer Lawn hotel, just walking distance up the road. More than worthy of a Michelin star, better than any restaurant i've been to before with a star.

Lovely annexe behind the Bed and Breakfast. Fully equipped with everything you could need for your time there. Wifi was good, sofa was very comfortable, bathroom was functional and spacious. Lovely hosts too, happy to help and guide for the local area if needed.

Lynne's place is a beautifully converted stable block that provides excellent clean, warm, private well-equipped accommodation. Sarah and I stayed here for 5 days after Easter (2017) with our two dogs. We were made extremely welcome, and Lynne has thought of everything you could need for just one night or a much longer stay (there is even a supply of doggy bags!). As a previous guest has said, you can literally walk out of the garden into the New Forest, so morning walks with the dogs were the norm. We also relaxed in our private garden with sun loungers and table/chairs to catch up on the latest paperbacks. The wifi is very strong (most of the New Forest has limited signal and very poor 4G) so you can stay connected or switch off from Social Media if you choose! The stable block has everything you need, so don't pack too much - towels, bedding, microwave, toaster, oven, TV, radio/CD player, so we were able to travel fairly light. You can easily walk into Brockenhurst - Albero's is delightful, and we enjoyed drinks in the Forest Arms, the Snake Catcher and the Huntsman, although there are other pubs and restaurants nearby. You can hop off the train at the station and walk to Lynne's place in probably less than 10 minutes, plus you can hire a bike in town so you can get away with not bringing the car if you want to. So, a lovely relaxing few days, our only problem now is when to come back (which we will) because Lynne has regular guests so booking in advance is advisable. Highly recommended.
