Benvenuti a Roma,
Double room in apartment with me, Cecilia.
The room is simple but sunny and with a super-comfortable king size bed. The house is located in Pigneto area known for its popular history and its young and artistic people.

The space

Due to its position the house is a very good place for people searching for a central and dynamic accomodation.
The area of Pigneto has a special distinct character derived from its popular tradition (real romans are still here) and mixed with a new artistic and trendy calling.

Guest access

You will find a clean but not ordinary place.
You are welcome in my house and i'll be pleased to suggest great places as well little trasures to visit.
Bed sheets, blankets and towels are included, of course.

I shouldn't need to say this but i have to:
- you may not leave dirty cups and glasses in the kitchen.
- the bath is to share so don't leave your clothes there, remove your hair from the shower, and you please ask if anybody (like me) needs the toilet before you take a shower.
- don't close tha cat out in the balcony
- close the main door when you get out

and, really, but really IMPORTANT!!!!
is not automatic that you can check-in late at night, so please ask if i can manage it before you make your reservation.

Even though I was coming in late, Silvia was a generous and welcoming host. Her tips for the neighborhood and Rome in general were very helpful and I also enjoyed the breakfast. The apartment is close to a tram stop, as described and vibrant Via de Pigneto and its bars and restaurants is not far. I had a great long weekend.

After having a very bad experience in Barcelona with another host and being kept in a plane for 2 hours before take off to Rome I got to Celina's house 4 hours after our check in agreement. I felt a kind of relieve when I saw the room, so clean, smelling good, with a nice bed and organized with fancy bed sheets. However the reception wasn't that good (I understand cause I was super late) however, she kept her coldness until the last second I left her house. I didn't feel welcome at all... I got to her house planing to explain and excuse myself about my delay but she was so cold that I noticed that whatever I sad it won't change her attitude. She sad I could have sent a message as if getting a wi fi access in Europe was something very easy (once you get to Rome you will understand what I am saying). She gave me the house keys, the wi fi access and explained she had to leave with a not welcoming face. She didn't provide me any basic information about anything... Thank God I get along with my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps and I did my homework about Rome before I get there... I found my own way to enjoy my time in Rome. Before I book with her she was already a little rude with me by message however I found correct from my part to book with her because she was the first one to answer my request. I was in Barcelona and I was trying to find a host in Rome very late at night in the last minute, sending message to places that was showing availability. She answered right away but complained that was too late to send a message, however since I know Airbnb is 24/7 on line and there's no policy about what time you should contact the host. I know my comments won't make a big difference since all the reviews about her are very good and that's why I also booked with her, expecting to have a good moment with her, sharing cultures and nice moments in Rome... I think she is a good person cause she was hosting the other guest very well. My only question is, why do you accept someone in your house if you can not provide a good hosting... If she felt bordered by my late message or whatever don't accept! Don't make people feel not welcoming! My 2 advices to get a good hosting from her are: 1. Don't text her after midnight 2. If you are kept inside the plane, try to borrow someone's cellphone and text her to explain about your delay. ;-) By the way, I just got to another host in Berlin. My flight was also delay and the host was very nice and understandable.

I had a great time in Rome. Cecilia was a great host who gave me some great recommendations of places to visit I wouldn't have found in any of the guides. I highly recommend.

Cecilia is a great hostess. Friendly, easy going, generous and informed on all the good places to visit in Rome. The apartment is nice, clean with a little balcony as well! Only a block from the tram and great proximity to all the major attractions in Rome. The neighborhood its self is a destination for food and nightlife! Debility recommend this.

I've born and i live in Roma. I'm 40.
I'm a webdesigner. I use to look around and see for beauty.
I deeply love art and all its declinations, such as graphics, design. I settled in this house just four years ago, but people often tell me it seems i've been always lived here. Yes, i'm a sort of collectionist of vintage and antique staff (paintings and prints but even furniture and objects).
I love gardening too. But i don't have a my balcony it's full of plants....
But, first of all, i love silence.
