Stunning 40's style house with lovely garden located in central Porto.
Big and spacious restored house with all the modern commodities located in a typical bustling Porto's neighborhood close to all shops, transports, restaurants, hospital and 15 min walk to the heart of the old town.
The house eclectic style, very much in tune with the owner's passion of travelling, has a large garden in the back with an open air shower for the warmer days, and a garden for relaxing or have a meal outdoors.
The house is big, bright and bold much like the city of Porto!
I hope to offer you a relaxing city break or a longer unique stay, which I strongly recommend if you are a wine or nature lover in order to explore more of the Douro river valley, UNESCO heritage site, by boat or by an historic train, the beautiful wild beaches at Foz or delight yourself with the freshest, typically grilled fish and seafood in the streets of Matosinhos.
The house is sunny with large windows leading to a big garden, ideal for relaxing after a day discovering the city, while enjoying a glass of Port wine and some Portuguese cheese or a meal prepared with the delicacies of the country.
Fully equipped and fully fitted for your confort.
Fully equipped with microwave, fridge, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, heating, hairdryer, iron and iron board and with all the home fittings such as bed linen, towels, cutlery, plates, pans, glasses and even some ear plugs in case you do not want to hear the seagulls at sunset when they love to come to the garden for a display of vocal performances. Last but not least, the ever so needed garden shower for when the heat takes over, cold water of course, in Porto one needs to get used to the Atlantic ocean :)
All bedrooms and main bathroom are on the upper floor that also offers an exclusive en suite terrace, very hard to leave with sun shinning all day!
To reach the ground floor level there is this beautiful vintage staircase. It is lovely though not recommended to excited children and guests with special needs.
Central located, this genuine and typical Portuense neighborhood can offer you all the authenticity and services that make Porto such a charming and unique city, with its characteristic streets bustled with coffee shops, restaurants, the local shoe maker, the florist, the seamstress, the fruit vendor, hairdresser as well as an hospital, supermarkets and banks. Transportation goes from buses at the doorstep to metro within 5 minutes walking distance from the house.

The house is very spacious but being a 1940's style house it has some vintage staircases that might not be totally safe/adequated for over enthusiastic children or special needs guests.

Nomad myself, nothing pleases me more than travel surrounded by family, friends and experience the local cultures, its gastronomy and history.
Unique, off the beaten path destinations and wildlife in general are my kind of holidays but the cities ecletic and vibrant lifestyle makes my heart beat too ;)
Welcome to everyone with a big heart and bigger appetite!
