Designed to complement and enhance the architecture of the distinctive homes, Parks form the heart and soul of The Village of WestClay, contributing to a unique and identifiable sense of community and pride of place. The natural environment is also important. More than 171 acres of open space will add to the quality of life at WestClay, providing opportunities for active recreation on the trails or playfields, or quiet reflection on the park benches around the lakes. Almost ten miles of paths (and more of sidewalks), all leading to real destinations, create a pedestrian-friendly environment, oriented toward safety and fitness.
My wife and I built our dream home in an architecturally inspired, resort style neighborhood in Carmel, Indiana. Intent on wanting to spend more time watching our children grow up, we built our house with an adjacent yet separate art studio. We opened the Art & Texture Finish Studio, I as the village artist-in-residence, specializing in decorative wall painting and furniture refinish. Our studio played host to children's art parties, corporate retreats and annual neighborhood Halloween celebrations. After years working in the estate homes within the Village and with our children almost grown, we recently converted the space into an artist themed retreat for guests to enjoy.
Our family has always enjoyed staying at Airbnbs when traveling in the US and Europe. Beyond the unique living spaces, we have found that Airbnb offers an opportunity to genuinely live "like the natives." Our sincere hope is that our guests take full advantage of the world class amenities that the Village and its 600 acres of parks, recreational facilities and shopping/restaurants offered simply within steps of your front door. This is your opportunity to enjoy the resort lifestyle that our family has grown to appreciate over the years.
