I had the privilege of staying with here for 4 months while attending a summer term at Cooley Law School. Kurt was a perfect host! Very nice and attentive to all of my needs. Great at communication. Kurt was very friendly and accommodating to my ever-ending needs. His home was very clean and well-kept. His home was nicely decorated with very distinguished arts from all over the world. Beautiful windows around the living room means that you get to see beaming sunlight early mornings. The community is lovely and all the neighbors are very nice. Kurt played his piano which was very good to listen to. My favorite area in his house was the backyard, very beautiful with flowers and nice trees. Very close to the public bus line, restaurants and shopping plazas. It is only 4 minutes from Downtown area, which makes it great to commute for students and people working downtown. Kurts' dogs are wonderful! Very cuddling and lovable. I will be very sure to love to book my next Airbnb @ Kurt's place as soon as I come back to Lansing. Thanks for a great stay Kurt! :)

When I first knew I had to move to Lansing, MI on an assignment, not knowing anyone in the city or the State, it was intimiditating and slightly discomforting (also the fact that Lansing is reputed for high crime rate didn't help!) I went looking for places that were both in my budget, longer stay, comfortable, and closer to downtown by public transit. Kurt's place fit in all my parameters. And more so. He was highly organized and meticulous in his communication, verbal and written. Made sure I knew the place well, and gave a tour of the city on the first day of my arrival to make sure I have all the information on hand to begin my life and work there (he also helped me with shopping, apartment search and dropping at airport when he had time, which was so helpful!). His place was quite nice, with a fully furnished basement complete with bed and mattress, sofa with cushions, Wifi, TV set, refrigerator, private bath, in-house laundry, ample closet space and utensils for pantry. He let me use his kitchen which was tidy, functional with full assortment of condiments fit for Indian dishes. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly, no issues whatsover. The best part was the bus stop right at the corner of the street which takes you to downtown under 10 mins. If you love dogs, like I do, there are two wonderful little ones, Leo and Raisin, to give you company in the evenings, they are well disciplined, and generally keep to themselves. Another feature of the house that made it tick was the AT&T security system with advanced motion detection system that helps identify intruders. So you know you're in a secure environment. Can't thank enough for being a warm and welcome host. I highly recommend Kurt and his place to travellers - both personal and business. You will have a good time and fine memories of your trip there.
