Our house is a 4-5 bedroom Victorian built in 1835. It has been restored with modern amenities and sits in the middle of the historic village of Jeffersonville. It is walking distance to 3 restaurants, a general store, two bars, a 20 mile long bike path, a play ground, 2 covered bridges and the Lamoille river. We are located at the base of Mt. Mansfield and 5 miles from Smuggler's Notch. Hiking, fishing, winter ice climbing, zip line adventures, golf, tennis and summer rock climbing are nearby.
The house will be comfortable for up to 8 individuals. Children will enjoy the area no matter what age since there is a school playground behind the house. The house has individual air conditioners in each room for the rare times that they are needed. There are two TV's one in the main living room and one in the upstairs common room. Wi Fi is included. The pictured carriage barn can accommodate one car or small pickup truck and will serve as a one car garage.
The whole house is available to our guests. We, Jane and I, live next door in the upstairs of our art gallery called Visions of Vermont. You can get more information on the art and artists by checking out our website "Visions of Vermont".
Interaction with guests
Since we own and operate the art galleries that are co-located with the rental property, we can provide additional options for entertainment and education to those interested. For over 100 years, art history in our region has been made. Master artists works like Aldro Hibbard, Emile Gruppe, Alden Bryan to name a few can be viewed and purchased in our galleries. We exhibit over 200 pieces of fine art that represent landscape painting of master artists both past and present in our buildings.
