Ten oceanfront acres awaits you at Sunset Cove Cottages! The newly renovated Boathouse Cottage sits literally ON the water's edge nestled on a secluded cove and surrounded by beautiful woods. Awaken with the resident eagles, gulls, ducks, and otters playing in the flow of creek in the bay below. Relax on the large deck that wraps around deck the cottage for a 180 degree view of the Cove and Georgia Strait. Pull up a chair, dig out that book you've been meaning to read, or just savor the view.
Big picture windows invite in the view outside and provide plenty of western sun. Summer will probably find you outside more than in, enjoying the cove, and off-season months are perfect for storm-watching and cozy one-on-one time.
Celebrating a special occasion? Book our Romance Package as the Boathouse Cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with stunning sunsets at night and privacy on the edge of the cove. Inside enjoy the cozy fireplace and luxurious linens on the queen sized bed.
A kitchenette provides a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and BBQ provides the conveniences of home, while there are also many fine-dining restaurants only minutes away.
The Cove is private and accessed through a private road leading off from the highway that winds down through a rare and spectacular forest and ferns to the ocean’s edge. It’s like being in your own mini Stanley Park. In the evenings and mornings watch for deer and other local wildlife. Climb the trails around the property before taking part in one of the many adventures available on the Sunshine Coast.

- Your door access code will be sent by text to your mobile phone. The Wi-Fi name and the password is on the information sheet in the cottage. To use the Satellite television: Press the TV, then power, then SAT, then the power button to turn on and off. We have a new first class well water treatment system and the water is safe to drink from the faucets. The corner wood bench on the deck of the Boathouse Cottage may have tree pitch on it so we don’t recommend sitting on it. The propane fireplace is operated by the thermostat and is sensitive to the temperature in the room. Please make sure it is not left running while you are out. DO NOT Leave any food outside as there is always wildlife looking for something to eat. Make sure you always close the doors and lock up when leaving. We recommend keeping the door closed to prevent the mosquitos from entering the cottage and please don’t hit them on the newly painted walls. Please respect the live edge bathroom vanity and use the silicon mat for straight irons to prevent damage from the heat. The green garbage can is on the north side of the Falling Creek cottage for your garbage and recycling. CHECK IN TIME IS 4:00PM AND CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00AM We hope you and all our guest enjoy your stay her and please help us make this happen by following these rules: 1. Water and Septic: The cottages are on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NO FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or condoms should be flushed at any time. You will be charged damages as determined by the Owner to repair the septic system. (OVER) 2. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the cottages or on the premises. We do not have fire protection on the premises. 3. Fires are permitted in the fire pit by the Falling Creek cottage. During the dry summer season campfires may not be permitted and the Owner will inform the Guest. 4. Candles are NOT to be used in the cottages. 5. Guests are not permitted on the property without the permission of the Owner. 6. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours. Quiet hours are from 11:00p.m.-8:00a.m. 7. The cottages are privately owned: the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others who they invite to use the premise. 8. Keep property and all furnishings in good order. 9. Kitchen must be left tidy and clean all your dishes before leaving. 10. Take all your food with you, but leave the basic supplies we have provided. 11. Only use the appliances for their intended uses. 12. Pets are NOT allowed on the premises or in the cottages. 13. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. 14. Garbage: Any garbage must be placed in the proper garbage containers or recycling bins located at the designated place. 15. Parking: is limited to the designated parking areas only on the right side of the driveway 16. Fireplace: Please do not throw any paper or combustible materials in the propane fireplace.
