A surfers', hikers' and adventurers' paradise, the Cape Peninsula is endlessly beautiful. Pristine beaches, Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, vineyards, great food, penguins... Summer or winter, there is no place like this to put your feet up, enjoy and explore. The house has beautiful and expansive views and is the perfect fully-equipped chillhouse so you may well not want to venture further than home.
Breathtaking views across mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful central deck area for lounging, dining and relaxing.
“This is the loveliest house we have every stayed at. The view over the ocean and the mountains will take your breath away every morning and every evening. Even if you stay for two weeks like we did. It is an old house with lots of antique furniture that radiates warmth and happiness, there are hundreds of books and children's hight marks on the door, a super well equipped kitchen that can turn out a feast for a dozen, and a garage full of water sport toys. Oh, and great matresses, too. Tammy and Craig, the owners, who live downstairs, are a most inspiring, gracefull, beautiful and fun couple and we really miss their company. As for Kommetjie, it is a small surfer town and Craig knows all the best spots but even if you don't surf it is a great place. There is a beautiful mountain walk starting right behind the house. And you won't find a better place to read a book then the cushions on the deck outside. ”

We love to meet our guests and engage as much as the guests would like to (or not). We are always available for questions about the house and neighbourhood. We live on the property in the separate entrance, ground floor flat. Three dogs live there too. They are friendly and delightful, they help keep the place secure and love their daily beach walks. Should guests require surf guiding or lessons, Craig is available for that too. Should you like for us to take you on drives, tours, walks, picnics, shopping, we can arrange that for you as well.
