Casa Nicte Ha is a typical example of a house in Merida from the 1950s. The house is located south of the Central Plaza of the city. It offers three rooms and two bathrooms, two of the rooms have beds and the third has a couple of hammocks to lay down to read o enjoy the siesta. We want our guests to feel the quietness of the house the light and the space. We offer you room for yoga, meditation and even creative activities such as painting, drawing, music playing and lots of DVDs.

The space

This lodge provides accomodation for guests who want to enjoy a peaceful stay, perople who are interested in writting, working in their hobbies. The place is excellent for couples or a small group of friends traveling together.

Guest access

You can enjoy the courtyard and the garden, but beware at night because other species such as iguanas or ants visit the premises. They are not dangerous but can be surprising at night. To avoid any unwelcomed visitors pleas don't leave any food or drinks in the patio overnight or during daytime.

Interaction with guests

I will be able my phone or e mail to answer any of your queries o questions.

Other things to note

Sunday is bicycle day in Merida. The important avenues downtown will be closed to road traffic until 2pm, but they remain open to bicycles, rollerskates and skateboards.
During the rain season (may through september) make sure you bring an umbrella and a light raincoat, as well as flipflops sandals to walk on the streets.
Merida is a very secure city, you can walk at night or in the early hours of the day with no problem.

Response from Jose:
Gracias Raúl, espero mejorar con el tema del aire acondicionado y revisar que las fotografías concuerden con lo que ofrece la casa.
