The space

This is our summer home, a Myconian style villa located in private Costa Ilios resort, a beautiful resort made of 168 privately owned homes. The 2-level villa has 4 bedrooms, 3 with en-suite bathrooms. One kitchen with dining area, a separate kitchenette, two entrances, fully furnished and nicely decorated. Daily housekeeping can be requested. There are no ac in the resort so we have fans in every (URL HIDDEN) villa is sunny all day long and has a lovely patio for lovely dinners, drinks and bbq. Just steps away from the olympic-sized pool and beach. Beautiful sunsets.
Only 10 min drive from Myconos Town where one can find anything of the heart's desire: from fine dining to traditional or casual, excellent shopping (from souvenirs to designer boutiques), a drink at a classical music bar or heavy duty nightclubbing. The location of the resort is near the world renowned, award-winning beaches of Super Paradise, Paradise, Paraga, Kalo Livadi, Agrari, Lia, Elia - any one is stunning. For a romantic or family vacation...

Guest access

Easy access, ample parking.

Interaction with guests

Yes there will be a person responsible for the property on site. However- after hours there must be a special arrangement made as Katerina at the reception leaves at 3 pm.

Other things to note

This is a home, so please respect it as such, it is not a hotel. It is a nice, affordable bohemian condo in perfect location. However, if you wish 5 star amenities this might not be for you :))
NO A/C JUST FANS. The whole resort has no a/c (not allowed due to noise) and of course Myconos is always with northerly cool winds - so it is rare that here is heat.
THERE IS DUST: Due to the winds, and that it is an island, dust is constant so we try to keep the place clean but the patio might get dusty
THERE ARE MOSQUITOES; Make sure you have anti-mosquito tablets (we will have them for you too)
BOTTLED WATER: Keep bottled water as the tap water is not so great to drink :)
HOT WATER: Upstairs there is an electrical board so you just lift the switch for 1/2-1 hour before to have hot water. Do the same in the downstairs room (outside the shower room)

Place is nice but far away from night life. If you just want to chill then is perfect.

House did not have AC as promised. My daughter got heat exhaustion and vomited an entire day and she has a heart condition. Also, the home was not clean. The next day, as soon as we found a new hotel, we checked out. Hostess was contacted prior and did nothing to help. I would not recommend this house. I was told by the person who checked us in that no homes on Mykonos have AC which is a lie. There was no communication error. I am fluent in Greek.

Response from Angela:
They didn't follow instructions to rent a car from the port and took them 3 hourso to reach villa . Mykonos is the island of winds 24/7 air is very strong and outdoor condition could never be 100% clean .because she left next day I offered her free next year holidays but I think she prefers 7 star hotel for 50 euro if she finds ...

Very misleading photos and overpriced!!!!!! My friends and I booked 5 nights between 8th -13th Sept 2016. 6 girls all together. First impression of the complex is nice and authentic Greek villa's. However to our disappointment the villa was dirty upon arrival, with cobwebs in the bedrooms, mold in the showers; broken shower head, light fixtures, plug sockets and missing light bulbs and temperamental front door which either locks you in or out. We only learnt after day 4 that you needed brute force to open the door. There was also no hot water when we arrived and luckily we were able to ask for help from the owners of the restaurant who was able to locate the main fuse board to turn on the hot water. We contacted the host upon arrival and she kindly managed to get someone to clean the villa as well as provide us with the welcome fruit bowl and wine as promised on the ad. One our 3rd night we had experienced a power cut in our villa, which later one we discovered that each time you use the kettle, it trips the power circuit. We were then unable to make communication with our host and also to AirBnB as to our disappointment was an automated service. Finally the power was fixed by the caretaker and when the host finally made contact with us more than 18 hours from our initial phone call, made no apology and stated that he had 12 families that had stayed in the villa and they have had no problems. This was rather disappointing to hear as he was not even sympathetic to our needs as customers and even refused to provide us with a small refund. It is also worth stating that there are lots of cats in the complex and this information is vital for as a health precaution as one of the guest has a serious cat allergy. The only thing that made the villa pleasant were the restaurant owners Yanis and Yani. They helped us so much and had great food which we ate there every day for breakfast, lunch and supper. The villa for what we got was extremely overpriced and the host was not very helpful when we asked for some of our money to be refunded back to us. On this occasion AirBnB has really disappointing us because of their automated service.

Response from Angela:
WOW! We are rather shocked from the unbelievably horrible reviews and comments about my house! I stayed in the house over August before Carol and her friends arrived so the house was extremely well kept! I have two young kids so the house was daily cleaned with a live in nanny! Carols friends attitude was very negative from the start, wishing for a 7* treatment in one hand but paying £30 a night/person on the other, a crazily low price for a 4 bed property in the heart of Mykonos! We received so many calls from them even at late hours in the night. The photos are this year's and we have no reason to mislead our guests-everyone so far is more than happy and pleasantly surprised. It is obvious that this group is unfamiliar with Mykonos. There is so much wind that brings dust all the time. The country has spiders and webs crop up daily. The Greek islands are famous for the cats and it is sad to hear such animal hating comments. Probably Mykonos and the beautiful bohemian style of the island living is not for you. Should opt for Dubai high rises as far away as possible from real nature.

We arrived at the villa to a large bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine, which was particularly welcome as we arrived quite late at night. George came to let us into the villa, which was just as described, if not better, as the covered area outside the villa was bigger than it looked on the photos, and provided a long table suitable for outside eating as well as another area with a coffee table and 2 settees and other chairs which was ideal for late night chatting and games of cards. The rooms were all nicely appointed and homely, with a distinct beachy theming throughout. The pool was fantastic - a proper sized pool for decent swimming - with views down onto the sea and the very protected beach below. The poolside was often very quiet, so although there aren't loads of sun beds, it was all that was needed. The gardens around the various villas were delightful, as were the views out to sea, and towards to Ornos. The taverna was useful, although the menu is limited, but was most welcome when we arrived as we hadn't needed to go back out to find somewhere to eat. You definitely need a car as it would be about a 30 mins walk into Ornos otherwise. There are some good restaurants there, plus loads in Mykonos town itself. Also found the Shirley Valentine restaurant nearby was lovely - think was called the Kitty Fish. Lots to do on the island, lots of beaches north and south - Panormus is newly fitted out as a very upmarket beach club with prices to match, but interesting for a visit. We loved Platis Gialos for beach beds, great restaurants and some water sports. A wonderful island to explore!

Angela and George were very kind. George came to pick us up at the airport which was really useful for us, welcomed us with wine and fruits at the house and gave us many tips. They also let us check out late (6pm instead of the normal time), which was helpful as our flight was at late. Angela also took care of the Wifi for us, as we didn't have internet when we got in. The flat is very practical (Big parking place, 4 WC, 3 showers, dishwasher, washing machine, etc...) and spacious, and also cool compared to the outside. It's close to the city and beaches, yet at night you don't suffer from the city noise and can sleep peacefully. The pool was not working, but so many nice beaches on the island so wasn't an issue for us. And the restaurant in the village didn't seem to be really open for business, don't know if it's because we were in June (before peak season). So we used the great bakery on Korfos beach for breakfast. Only surprise was that on the ground floor, you have to walk through a room to get to the other room and in to the bathroom, which could be delicate in some cases.
