Yolanda's home was perfect! A great location, quiet area, within walking distance to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps and all other tourist areas. Restaurants everywhere. The home is immaculately kept. All amenities, beautiful balcony to have breakfast and dinner if you're eating in. Super highly recommended.

This is an awesome base to see Rome but with a sense of neighborhood with local restaurants and markets. Also very convenient for the Studio Olimpico - U2 this trip, maybe six nations rugby next time. Thank you, Yolanda.

Yolanda is a great hospitable host, welcoming and helpful with settling in and making us feel safe and comfortable in a new city. Rome is lovely and having a friend made it more a place feeling of home.

You always worry whether your appartments will be good or bad during the way there, this time it was a load off my chest when I reached the place. It's located not far from the metro station in 5 stations from Termini. The place is great: calm, beautiful, least touristic. Vatican Museum is reachable on-feet though which is also great. The appartment itself is very bright on the top floor and feels like a penthouse indeed. It's a fusion between modern and ancient inside with quite old furniture in the hall and pretty modern one in the kitchen. If you go to the balcony, you'll see an unbelievable view which Yolanda called "a piece of Rome". You should keep in mind that this place is rather far from touristic places so bars and restaurants are, let's say, optimized for locals. You'll barely find a place with good English speaking and that could be a problem. It's worth it anyway because you should totally try local homemade food in the "cacio e pepe" restaurant downstairs (come in advance, there are huge queues evening time). A couple hundreds of meters to the east there is the Tiber river quite reachable on feet as well. Enough said, you'll be excited. We are =)
