Do you love to be close to Nature, the hotponds and a rocky beach.. You’ll love my place because of the views and the location. You will need to go down a bumpy road to get to us, but it isn't too bad.

In the daytime, you will hear the birds chirping and a faint sound of the ocean. At night, you will have Coqui frogs singing to you all night.

Durning full moon nights, flashlights aren't really needed. During the moonless nights, you will see 1000's of stars filling the night.

The space

This is by far the best room of the house. It is twice the size of the other other bedrooms and has a private bathroom and balcony.

The main door of the house and your private bedroom door has a keypad door lock Make sure you get your individual code directly after booking.
Your bedroom is number 1. Just in case you arrive when no one is at the property, you can easily check yourself in.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire house and your private bedroom. The balcony is my favorite part of the property. It is always cool and breezy.

Our internet is mostly stable. The speeds do slow down a bit since we are in the middle of a rainforest and use a satellite for access.

Interaction with guests

We are always here to help you as much as we can. Just let us know what you need from us.

Other things to note

Our driveway is a bit bumpy. It is a work in progress. You won't bottom out on it, but it could use some improvements.

If you have something you think we should improve on the property, please let us know. Also, 5 star ratings are much appreciated. We make our living from here. If something isn't perfect, just let us know and we will do our best to fix it.

Nice to have your own bathroom. The room is large and the balkony also. You share the kitchen with 2 other rooms and all the tents outside in the garden if there are some.

This place was nice. The property is tucked away in a forest type setting and is a bit off the beaten path for sure. The property has lots of fruit trees like bananas and avocado and mulberries. They were delicious. The property and home is maintained by Tracy and 2 other guys that live on the acreage. All were very friendly and helpful. We shared a full house at the time with 2 other rooms being rented. We had no problems with that. Our room was great and we had our own bathroom. Just a note that this house is off the grid so power usage is asked to be minimal and so there is no a/c. The fan helped at night. Overall, had a very rememberable experience and would stay here again!

A beautiful, quiet place to unwind from life. Both the owners and farm manager Tracy were great communicators and the home was immaculate. I am already looking forward to my next stay there. Thank you!

Really enjoyed my stay here! The property is beautiful and the hospitality was above average! Highly recommend for the price and the experience if you're wanting to stay in the jungle.

My stay here was great! I was greeted by the caretaker Tracy who welcomed me and showed me around. He was also very helpful with answering any questions I had and giving me suggestions in the surrounding area. This place is secluded but is very clean, quiet, and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

This home was wonderful and comfortable. I didn't get to meet Erb & Shella, however for booking it, Shella was a delight to communicate with. She really helped me with locations of things my son and I planned to do while visiting Hilo side of the Big Island. Pahoa is a nice little town with a wonderful hot pond up the road from there residentz And the resident is not too far from the lava flow, which was the main activity my son and I wanted to see. They have shared hosts and Tracy who helped us was so informative and his hospitality was great! He made fresh coffee for us and my son who is 10 yrs old had a little cup ready for him also to have milk or what he chose. We had fresh pineapple that Tracy offered us because he was given one by a friend and shared it! So yummy! My son loved the night time? It sounds so neat. And he loves the wild Pigs on their fruit/vegi farm. We also got to pick fresh avocados that Tracy offered us and we are very grateful! I would really encourage anyone who wants a beautiful remote scenic place to stay as we did to book with these wonderful people! If I could have stayed longer I would have, thank you again, it was such a nice relaxing restful home!
