Something about Krakow...

Krakow is a city of legends and historical facts, city of poets and painters, philosophers and ordinary people, city of science and work....Even one, short visit leaves travellers thousands of memories and opportunities to stop for a while, look at the place, to meditate...There is so many things worth getting know in here: monuments, which are living witnesses of passing days, charming narrow streets and cafeterias, plummy artistic life and magic atmosphere, sometimes fullfilled with events, sometimes lazy, always unique.
Not only last years decided about the unrepetable character of the city, not even decades but centuries. From a very first day there was an important cross junction of trading trails in here, meeting place of variety cultures and political influences. Today Krakow is known as one of the most important tourist destination place.
Krakow is a symbol of unrepetable in history of Poland culture heritage as it used to be a capital for almost 6 centuries, residence of kings and bishops, significant centre of science in Europe. However the face of Krakow was changing through those ages, it didn’t lose it’s uniqueness. It’s one of the firsts wealthy fortified city wchich defensive walls remnants can be seen untill today, center of progresive ideas and culture, converging remarkable humanists, writers, architects, musicians – harbour for almost all polish artistic elite.
This is the place where tradition sink into the present days, because almost each site in here has it’s own history, each stone is a witness of passed and observer of present events. Thousands of monuments, works of art, cultural events and other atractions of the city gives you chances to discover your own, private, unique Krakow....
