Our Heritage River Farm is nestled at the foot of the Rockies on the Uncomphagre River. The views are spectacular and nearby attractions include the Black Canyon and Ouray, and is perfect for those who thrive on outdoor activities such as: 4-wheeling, ATVing, skiing, boating, fishing, camping, rock climbing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice climbing. The airport, the city center and parks are only minutes away. Couples, adventurers, business travelers and families will find it perfect!

The space

This setting is the perfect place for family reunions, weddings or just relaxing on the river with a fishing rod. Our very private location with all the conveniences of town within a couple minutes drive is the ultimate for vacationing.

Guest access

All guests have access to the river and fishing (with the proper license), as well as the farm animals. Laundry facilities are available upon request. There are seasonal berries, fruits and garden vegetables to pick.

Interaction with guests

We live on the farm in a private residence and have a shared driveway which accesses our other accommodations. We are always available to our guests but try to afford them their privacy!

Other things to note

We are a working farm and have pets which feel the whole farm is their home and love to welcome guests including furry guests!

Such a scenic place to stay! There are two homes on the property and either are a great accommodation. We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely loved Tammi's cabin! I visited the area with my Mom and Sister during fall as we drove through the state 'chasing leaves', and although small, the cabin was the perfect amount of space for the 3 of us. The heater worked great throughout the night, and we woke up to the sounds of the river and breathtaking fall leaves with horses grazing right next to the cabin. I grew up in Colorado, but this place is a real treat. Also, great hot water supply and stocked kitchen for cooking.

This cabin is a charmer! From the rustic decor to the thoughtful amenities provided to the riverside location, this cabin is wonderful. Our hosts were very responsive and solved a maintenance issue quickly. The rural location offers peace and quiet even though town is only a few minutes away. A fabulous rental!

The setting of this wonderfully unique tiny house is beyond words. Set by the river with a fire pit on a working farm with horses and goats was such a treat. Tammi was an amazing host and so kind. I will be back!

Looking for a unique, natural and secluded spot to relax and unwind for a while? This is your place! My husband and I stopped here while we were visiting a friend in Montrose and had a lovely time. We spent the better part of one of our two days there just relaxing around the cabin and enjoying the serenity of the river & napping to rain falling on the tin roof. Tammi was a great host and really gave us a good rundown of how to use everything in the cute tiny house, and was very respectful of our privacy. I would definitely book this listing again!

This cabin is a wonderful location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the 21st century. The area is beautiful and the cabin is charming with a lot amenities and personal touches. I highly recommend this lovely experience.

My husband, sister, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tammi's cute little cabin in the woods. The cabin is in the trees right along the river. Tammy has a real knack for decorating and has created a warm and cozy home. She left us K-cups, herbal teas, cookies, toiletries and even dog treats for our two beagles. If you want a great place to relax and unwind, this is your place!

"Hi" Tim and I (Tammi) are living a farming lifestyle on a beautiful little piece of river bottom land. We enjoy making goat milk lotions and soaps with our home grown botanicals, farming with the draft horses and gardening. We would love for others to experience our little pie…
