Our home is located in historic Cape Charles, VA. It was built in 1910. We purchased it in 2016 and have completely renovated it, from the wiring and plumbing to the new bathrooms and light fixtures while keeping as much of the character as possible! We are close to Central Park, the beach and downtown are all within walking distance.

Our home is still under construction, but we are almost done! It will be finished in time for the summer!

The space

Everything is brand new, newly remodeled. Our home is very open and spacious with high ceilings. The attic has been turned into a game room for the kids to hang out in. The fully serviced Central Air, cable, WiFi, hardwired smoke alarms, ceiling fans, flat screen TVs, are some of the amenities in the home. The kitchen will be stocked for you to cook meals. There are games and puzzles. Linens and bath towels will be provided. An outdoor shower will make sand removal much easier!

We are 1 block from Central Park and the beautiful beach is 6 blocks. It's 3 blocks to Mason Ave (downtown) with Brown Dog ice cream, local shops and restaurants!

Guest access

You have the entire house to use for your get away! There is a large front porch, deck off the back of the house and a large corner yard.

This is a well-appointed and comfortable period home for the Cape Charles area. The remodeling is impressive and the "smart" features of the house made it very user-friendly, while retaining its historic charm. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and had super-comfortable furniture. I HIGHLY recommend this home for your stay.

Beautiful home. Greats hosts. Responded quickly when I was booking the place and during our stay. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. Loved the town and how most things were within walking distance. Can't wait to come back.

This home was awesome! We enjoyed ourselves immensely and the pictures do not do it justice! The home is completely renovated and is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again! We rented a golf cart for the weekend and the beach is only a few blocks away. Another few blocks are a few shops and restaurants. It is a really quiet and quaint neighborhood! The neighbors made my family members who got there before us margarita's! Just an overall great weekend!!

This house was beautiful big and very well stocked. The beds were soft, the bathrooms were clean and the whole house was recently renovated so everything was brand new, it was very accommodating. We had 2 kids ages 8 and 9 and they had more than enough room to play and explore. The host Christie was very nice and kept me on the loop weeks before we arrived. The location it's the only thing we weren't too happy about, if you are coming from Virginia beach there is a bridge you need to cross and there is no way around it. Normally we wouldn't mind something like that but it was $15 to cross it each time. So just beware of that. Having said that I don't think that would have changed our minds on staying there. Overall I recommend this house you won't be disappointed, my husband and family were very please.

Response from Christie:
We are so glad that you enjoyed our stay, especially since you have the honor of being our first official guests! Sorry about not mentioning the bridge, I really didn't think about it, but it will be mentioned now. Thanks for being great guests, hopefully you can come back and visit again!
