We have 4 lovely, clean, cool and thoughtfully decorated rooms, with big comfy beds, cool high ceilings and we offer a great value breakfast option and wine list for guests. Our Kampot town house is just a two minute walk across the Old Bridge to 'Street Food Central', coffee shops, bars and excellent restaurants, but aside from tasty food & drinks, there is a lot more to discover here in Kampot and we can help you organise day trips and river activities during your stay.
We are right in the middle of an active, Khmer street with all the usual laughing ladies, chickens, children, and a very busy coffee shop just next door - be sure to try a 75 cent 'Cafe t-cor' with sweet milk while you are here or a manicure and blow dry at the salon across the street and if you wake up early enough, you can watch the fishing boats coming home at sunrise. We offer a nice help yourself breakfast in the mornings (at a reasonable price) with good coffee, local bread, spreads and bananas and let us know if you would like us to arrange a nice welcome package of snacks and wine for your arrival or while you are here.
We have four guest rooms, all decorated in an individual style, and this listing is for our cold water downstairs rooms. When you book you are reserving one room only (not the whole property), but please let us know if you are looking for more rooms and we will try our best to accommodate your group. There are more photographs and some extra information on our other listing (but they are both for our house!)
As well as your private room, we also have a sunny balcony with seats at the back of the property and a large rooftop where you can enjoy some shade and the river breeze with your mountain and river views! It's a good spot for chilling out in the hammock with a book, or to have a nice cold glass of wine and some lunch.
We ask that you lock the doors when you come back inside and that you are respectful of our neighbours and other guests, especially with noise after 10pm.
Interaction with guests
We have lots of favourite spots and are happy to share tips for day trips, activities, restaurants, night life and tuk tuks - and although we aren't travel agents, we have friends who are! We also can book your bus and day trip tickets from our reception.
Other things to note
We have parking space for motorbikes and bicycles inside the property in the evening. Kampot is easy to get about on foot, but if you want to explore further you will need either a motor bike or tuk tuk - don't worry we can help you arrange those too.
We have a pet Muppet, Kiki (actually a dog), she'll give you a high five, but will expect some of your lunch in return.
- No smoking in the bedrooms. Please respect our neighbours and other guests. The house entrance, rooftop and balcony doors need to be locked when you come inside and keep the noise down after 10pm.
