The space

Kitchen meals and living area all on the lower level with Bedroom bathroom and Balcony on the top level. Both areas are heated so the apt is very cosy over Melbourne's chilly days.There is a mezzanine office in between which is off limits to guests. This area is locked. There is a basement carpark with space for 1 guest car.

Guest access

Guests will have access to all the living and bedroom areas.
Only area not accessible is the mezzanine office.

Interaction with guests

Interaction with guests will be limited to meeting on arrival to hand over keys and go through any information regarding the apartment.

This is my home during the week, so I ask that guests look after my belongings and to please keep noise down as I don't want my neighbours to be inconvenienced. No smoking inside please.
Also it's important to close the balcony door upstairs when its raining as there is no protection and rain comes inside on the timber floor.

Madge's apartment was absolutely brilliant. The location in Fitzroy North is so convenient to the city and the hip inner northern suburbs. Brunswick Street is right outside the door, Smith Street is walking distance and the picturesque Edinburgh Gardens at the end of the street. Trams and trains are all very easy to find. The apartment is light and airy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is beautifully comfortable and the apartment is just as the photos, in fact, the photos don't really do it justice. Lovely view from the verandah off the bedroom. Madge was very easy to contact and when we arrived the internet was out. Madge was quick to organise her office manager to come around and reset the modem, so I was still able to work. We loved the apartment and felt completely at home for our two week stay. We didn't want to leave. Thanks again for a great stay. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Madge's apartment. Excellent location in Fitzroy North, it was perfect . Very handy to trams into the city, cafes with fabulous coffee, and the supermarket, Piedimonte's has everything you need plus more. We arrived late in the evening so didn't get to meet Madge but the information given on accessing the apartment made it very easy, as did the notes on the local area. We would definitely recommend to stay at Madge's place.

Great little spot. Heaps of room, really clean and tidy. The bed is super comfy. Plus it's only 50m to a tramline that takes you right down brunswick st.
