This is a stunning house, absolutely beautiful in a central location convenient for rail station, seafront and town centre, my Mother and I would stay here again!

I'm so glad I chose Lisa's house as a base for our trip - a spacious house with lots of period charm. Lisa is a sociable, generous host, willing to provide tea, coffee and breakfast stuff, share her kitchen and time if needed - I felt really at home, just my kind of place. The location was brilliant as we were in Eastbourne for a workshop with a talented young potter and could walk there as well as to the sea front and lots of places to eat.

I wouldn't recommend it, apart from the location. Maybe other rooms in the house are better, but the twin wasn't comfortable. Sorry but I think the host needs to make some changes - I don't like to be negative but I don't see the point of a review if you are not honest.

The house of Lisa is very big and perfect stayed. It's only a few minutes to go to the centre or the sea. I would recommend it.

I booked this place for my parents to visit us from Wales. I chose it because it had a beautiful looking front with great photos of the inside and the location to us was pretty good, too! On arriving and checking my parents in, we weren't dissapointed; beautiful clean interior, wood flooring throughout so it has a lovely feeling of space. Their room was the twin and it was bigger than expected with a chest of drawers to stow belongings. Even though the room was basic it was lovely - if you need tea and coffee the kitchen is downstairs, bring a hairdryer if your into that kind of thing. What I will mention is that if you like to sleep in in the morning after a later night bring earplugs - the wooden floors carry noise all the way through the house. Also, the kitchen is shared with all guest rooms in the house plus the family - Lisa stocks the fridge every day for you to make your own breakfast and likes her kitchen tidy. Who doesn't? And, if your booking a non-ensuite room you will be sharing your bathroom with other rooms. What my parents were most dissapointed with was the fact that this property is run hostel fashion and the description of the property doesn't seem to include this. Although they had a lovely stay, they did say that they would choose somewhere else next time they visit.
