Our two-story, three-bedroom, semi-detached home was built in 1899, and is a mix of Victorian charm and everyday comfort.
The home has three outdoor spaces - a front courtyard, an atrium and a back yard with a braai (BBQ) area. The main bedroom also has a balcony.
The house sleeps five comfortably and we have a high chair, cot and baby gate available, if you're travelling with an infant.
Just a short walk to Observatory's best coffee shops, parks and bars.
Fireplace for cold winter nights!
Our house is set up to sleep 5:
- A master bedroom with en-suite toilet/shower, balcony and queen sized bed.
- A guest bedroom with queen sized bed and writing desk.
- A child's bedroom with single bed and cot. (The single bed is full size and will comfortably sleep an adult.)
The house comes equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a washing line outside. There is a TV and an Xbox to login to your own Netflix! No local channels.
The house has an alarm and an armed response service, ensuring you feel safe and secure during your stay.
The fireplace warms the whole downstairs area, and we keep a stock of firewood for guests to use.
Guests have access to the whole house, with the exception of any locked cupboards.
Interaction with guests
Our house is managed by Rudi. He will be in touch with you to arrange key handover, and a quick tour of the house (how the alarm works, Wifi password, etc.). After that, the house is yours to enjoy.
- Our neighbourhood is a quiet one and as we share a wall with our closest neighbours, please be aware of your noise levels
