Amazing area with lots of bars and restaurants around; the place has underground parking, super clean, cosy and perfect for two, but can fit a third on the couch.

Hamid was quick to respond to messages, met us at check in and showed what we needed to know about his place. It was clean and tidy, and is an excellent location

Our weekend getaway at Hamid's was perfect, without any major complaints really, he's efficient at communicating, always replies within a couple of minutes for any questions you may have regarding your stay, he was very accommodating as well, we wanted to enjoy a little bit more of Toronto in the afternoon after we checked-out and he allowed us to leave our car parked at the apartment for the afternoon, since finding parking in Toronto, let alone sit in traffic isn't always a simple and fun thing to do, but overall we had a great stay and the location was perfect for our needs, not too far from downtown, and only about a $9.00 Uber.

Excellent host and accommodations. Located within walking distance to Budweiser stadium and public transport. Hamid was there to greet us and check us in and explain how to use the t.v. etc; The place was spotless - something I really appreciate. Would not hesitate to book this place again - excellent value and easy booking!

Great location if you are going to CNE, concert at Ontario Place (Budweiser Stage) or a soccer/football game at the BMO field.

It felt like a bad online dating experience where what is presented in a photo online is nothing like the reality when you see it in person. Just because it is a bachelor pad doesn't meant it is an excuse to cut corners when it comes to cleaning. Power points need to be safe, and basic cleanliness such as mopping the floor and dusting. This biggest let down was how inaccurate the photos are. ie. the microwave and toaster on the floor. What I thought was a sideboard in the hallway turned out to be the main dining table in the place. The photos with lounge chairs I assumed was a lounge area were in fact of the foyer downstairs. There is no separate bedroom as portrayed in the photos. The noise is out of this world with police sirens, traffic and a train line out the front and side of the building. The airconditioning only works for an hour at a time and it is so old and noisy there is no way you can sleep with it on. The hosts attitude was he felt justified charging three times what he normally does, stating “if you are not willing to pay it, then someone else would”. Deciet is not the spirit of Airbnb. When you arrive from overseas and are jetlagged and tired it is the last thing you want to deal with when you turn up to an apartment. It is important to be descriptive in the detail as things in one country mean something else overseas. It is one thing to make your place look nice in photos, but it is important to be honest as well so people are not disappointed when they turn up. Just as a host does not expect parties or large events to be held in their place, likewise if there is such a big event as the Caribana with 2 million people on your front door, it is important to let guests from overseas not familiar with the country to know this. I understand you may get good ratings from young people who want to party, but for older single women who are there to work, it was a disaster.
