Hi, I'm Bjorn and I´m Swedish and my wife Amy Brown is American. We live in South Venice, Florida on a quite street by the water. Amy is originally from New York City and Bjorn is from Stockholm, Sweden. After 18 years in Sweden and four years on the island of Malta, raising our two daughters, we took advantage of the empty nest when the youngest went to college to move to Florida. We love the nature and beauty of the beaches in southwest Florida and immediately fell in love with our home in Venice, where we moved in 2015. Amy is a freelance business writer and novelist and Bjorn is a photographer and trained kayak instructor, ornithologist and nature guide. We enjoy our home’s proximity to the water, and the short five minute ride with our kayaks across the Intracoastal to the wild, unspoiled section of Caspersen Beach only accessible by boat. We love the charm of downtown Venice, which is only a 20 minute bike ride along the beautiful Legacy Trail from our home. Venice is a friendly town, full of great shops, restaurants and the most beautiful beaches and sunsets you’ll ever find. We love to share our slice of paradise with our guests. When you are our guests we will respect your privacy while you are in house; however we are very friendly and quite accessible any time you need anything or have just general questions. We want you to relax and enjoy yourself. We have travelled all over the world and enjoy meeting people. We look forward to meeting you!
