Cosy cottage for two in recent barn conversion on rural small-holding in mid-Wales. Peace and quiet with stunning views.
The one bedroom cottage has retained the charm and character of the original stone barn, with exposed beams, stone walls, wooden and slate floors.
The Hayloft has a large lounge/diner with an open-plan kitchen and a shower-room on the ground floor, and a large bedroom with a king-sized bed upstairs on a mezzanine floor – in the old hayloft. Lie in bed and watch the view of sheep grazing on the hill just outside.
It has a modern fitted kitchen with electric stove and large fridge, oil-fired central heating, flat-screen TV, free wi-fi and a king-sized bed with hotel quality bed linen & towels.
There are reclaimed wooden floors in the living & bedroom areas and slate floors in the kitchens and shower rooms.
As well as your private patio area with garden furniture, you also have access to part of the well-established garden, with a picnic bench overlooking a large wildlife pond for sundowners.
Interaction with guests
The cottages are next to our traditional welsh farmhouse but your access is away from our house, so you get the benefit of having us on the premises without us getting in your way. You have total privacy and an unimpeded view of the stunning welsh landscape with the Cambrian Mountains in the distance.
Other things to note
ALSO check out our other cottage at the same location - The Stables, which has a totally different layout but the same high quality. The two cottages would be ideal for two couples travelling together.
- Check-out time: 10.00am
