Gorgeous cottage, in a prime location overlooking the estuary. In the mornings, the sun comes up perfectly in the back garden, where you can relax and read on the loungers. The friendly pub next door adds to the charm of this whimsical place.

Really enjoyed my stay at Wivenhoe. The location was fantastic, the house well prepared and amenities all that I could hope for. I travelled to University of Essex every day, and it was a breeze. I highly recommend a stay if you are in the area

I am a 45 year old father of two and husband to one amazing woman. We have lived in this charming property and incredible location for five years but a growing family means we have to move on and let the Air B and B community enjoy this spellbinding 17th Century house.
