The space

Surf and stay on Bronte's world famous beach. Fine surf, great secure swimming in ocean pool and rock pool, and great cafes. Local restaurant favorite 3 Blue Ducks, Cali Press juice bar and Sydney's best bakers Iggies a short walk away! Public transport steps away - the 440 runs every 10 minutes in peak' to Bondi Junction shopping centre and train. You are situated right at the heart of the eastern suburbs coastal beach walk, Bondi to Coogee, and beyond.

FAQs

1. Is there parking?

There is free street parking available at the top of the street just walk up from the beach via the steps to McPherson st. With due notice I can buy day parking tickets for you from the Council at $5 per day for the beach. During a very hot day, the beaches get very busy and parking on the street could be difficult, however, with patience, you are most likely to find a free spot.

2. Is there Wifi?

Yes we provide free Wifi to guests.

However, we cannot guarantee your connection as this could be due to your device(s) or other issues outside our control (eg telecoms provider network). However, we will do our best to assist you with your Wifi connection. Australia is notoriously lousy with Internet. Saying that we have the best provided. If interested I can arrange access to my OPTUS' Sports EPL streaming and On -Demand ' packages :)

3. Can guests have an early check in or late check out?

Our standard check in time is 3pm and standard check out time is 11am. This is to allow the apartment to be cleaned for the next guests and to take into account that guests prior to your stay would not check out until 11am.

We can only accommodate early check ins if there are no guests staying the night before your check in date.

It is difficult for us to accommodate late check outs as our cleaners arrive at 11am to start cleaning the apartment for the next guests.

If you have a long haul flight and require the apartment early say from 7am, most guests actually book the night before to ensure that they can have accommodation as early as 7am.

4. Public transport access from the apartment?

Bronte is one of the eastern suburbs of Sydney. The east is well known for its beaches and also being close enough to the central business district of Sydney.
In terms of public transport, there is regular bus service that stops at the beach seconds from the apartment.

The main shopping centre and transport (bus and train interchange) are located in Bondi Junction which is approximately a 10 minute bus ride from the apartment. From the train interchange at Bondi Junction, it takes around 10 min or so to the City depending on the train station.

General respect of the apartment and cleaning rules. Keep clean and tidy during your stay.
WE ASK THE GUEST TO
1. Tidy up the kitchen after each major use;
2. Not to bring sand from the beach into the house by rinsing at allocated showers prior to returning to the apartment. Shoes and thong's ( flip-flops) off.
3. Be careful with luggage wheels damaging the floors
4. Keep the noise down particularly after 9pm
5. DONT!! DOUBLE LOCK THE DOOR. as the cleaner will not be able to get in !
6. Do not leave wet clothing or materials on the floor as this causes water damage on the carpet.


Before you leave, we would appreciate it if you turn off all the lights and electrical items.

Please note that this apartment is in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, and being close to the beaches is in one of the most, if not the most expensive area in Sydney to rent an apartment from. The prices of a night stay in a 3/4 star hotel room are significantly higher than our daily rate. We welcome guests who are fully aware of this fact to stay with us. If your expectations are that you will get the service of a 4/5 star City hotel with concierge, this apartment would most likely not meet your expectations. This is a self contained 1930's Period apartment with our belongings, books and 'Objet d'art' that is our life. We are not a 'business' airbnb space' this is our home. This is not a 'New Build' whitebox. This is Sydney beach living. We want to share this lifestyle and beach life experience with you. It is suited to independent traveller(s) that appreciate this.
