This lovely turn of the century colonial is located on a dead end street only a 2 minute walk from town. It is 5-10 minutes from all summer cultural attractions, such as Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Shakespeare & Co., Berkshire Theatre Festival, Barrington Stage Co., museums, hiking trails and more. It features original wooden beams, a spacious kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace, and a formal dining room with bay window.
The house was built in 1875 and was home to the first female physician in Massachusetts. You'll find the first floor guest room is cozy and conveniently located next to the spacious kitchen, dining room, and private bathroom with shower.
Guests have access to entire downstairs, including large dining room, huge kitchen, and comfortable living room with fireplace. There is a private driveway, and it is a 2 minute walk to town, where there are many restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
I am a single mother and live in this big lovely house with my 15 year old son. I work from home, and keep the house very tidy. I love the neighborhood we are in because it is quaint and quiet, but only a 5 minute walk to town. I am a wine connoisseur and have a large wine collection to share with guests!
