- Please be quite in the communal stairwell when coming and going at night. We take our shoes off when we enter the apartment, we find it keeps things cleaner that way. We recommend that guests do the same. Thanks!

Lucy's home is extremely well furnished and the host was kind and lovely throughout our trip. Even though we had a few mishaps, Lucy handled it gracefully and even decided not to charge us anything im the end. We are extremely thankful for how kind she is.

This apartment is well located for a 10 minute walk into old town Edinburgh, there are a few flights of stairs to climb to enter the apartment. The apartment was really clean and was exactly as Lucy describes it in her advertisement. We were a family of four and the options for 2 double beds and a loft bed worked well. The kitchen was clean and Sharon (Lucy's friend) met us with some chocolate, wine, fresh fruit juice and milk. We enjoyed our walks both eves back through the meadows where a trumpet player serenaded our journey.

I work as a translator between Arabic, Persian and English. I'm also a graduate student of Iranian Studies. All this said my first career was in the arts, I worked in circus and theatre for 15 years. I love to travel, to speak different languages and meet different people. My husband is a physicist, we both love the ocean and have recently learned to scuba dive. Despite loving to travel I always come back, I am a proud of Edinburgh and Scotland and look forward to helping guests enjoy this wonderful city and country.
