Stylish, spacious & sunny with 2 bedrooms in Krakow Old Town on 1st floor of quiet street 150m > Main Market Square. Newly renovated and comfortably furnished in a historic family home. 200m > Car Park at Plac Wszystkich Świętych (not reservable).
96m2 beautifully renovated apartment on the first floor of a medieval building in the quiet Golebia Street.
The entrance hall greets you with a stained-glass window, next is the living room, tastefully decorated with a fully equipped kitchenette and sofa bed, where attention is attracted by old structural beams and a large tiled stove from the nineteenth century. The master bedroom is spacious and bright, with exposed Gothic arches and an old Victorian fireplace and a large double bed. The second bedroom is decorated in a Provencal style, it also has a double bed, plus a balcony. The bathroom is stylishly decorated and has a large walk-in shower.
On the ground floor of the house is Bordo restaurant, an antique shop and a reception (currently 9-5 mon-fri). Bordo is cheap and cheerful and there are many other eating places within one minute walk.
Interaction with guests
If you have any questions do not hesitate to make contact. We try to respond to any criticisms so for example we have upgraded all our matresses after a complaint that they were not comfortable enough.
Other things to note
Please let us know what time you are planning to check in. Normal check-in is 2 to 5 pm but we can also be very flexible. Pets are usually accepted but please request this in advance and we now will always ask for a deposit since we have had problems with messes etc in the past. My name is Paul and I am in the process of developing what was the property of my father and my grandmother before him. It is gradually being transformed from a decrepit building into refurbished apartments in central Kraków.
I am a retired Consultant Anaesthetist and I also farm Aberdeen Angus cattle in Ireland, where I enjoy bee-keeping and gardening.
I was brought up in England and went to Medical School at Leeds University. I now speak a little French and Polish but understanding both of them, when spoken, is usually still very hard.
Eating-out has long been a "hobby" of mine so I am now lucky that there are over 1000 places to eat in Kraków!
